"I received this AEG inside an unmarked box, which held the rest of my order, too. The AEG was in a four sided box, with a pre-shaped plastic holder, containing the AEG itself, the 450 round hi-cap magazine, and the cleaning/unjamming rod.
At cursory glance, the rifle is really solid, heavy, and pretty darn good looking. I picked it up and man was this thing heavy. It is well balanced out loaded with a magazine or not, and throwing a battery in makes it less front heavy. The rails, buffer tube, dust cover, outer barrel and magazine are all metal, while the front sight is mostly some ABS plastic, and the receiver is a really nice type of ABS.
When I tried to get the battery in, I couldn't figure out how to make the wires stay in. I soon learned that by extending the stock one notch, they fit wonderfully.
When firing, the rifle was extremely accurate and already, the hop-up was adjusted perfectly. The safe/semi/full selector switch works on all modes, the trigger locks on safe, no random bursts on semi, and full auto is a tad scary.
An added bonus for me, is when you pull the charging handle back, the dust cover pops open. I spent three hours closing and then yanking the charging handle, just cause I felt like a boss. The only thing I don't like about the dust cover, is sometimes it doesn't close, or pops open for no reason.
The mags wobble a bit, and the stock does, but not enough to affect anything.
My only disappointment was how weak the blowback feature was. I emptied a full Matrix 180 Aluminum mid-cap magazine, with next to no recoil/blowback. I was like, what the heck?
In the poor man's chronograph test, the bb's penetrated the thickest part of the can with ease.
-Metal rails and whatnot
-charging handle is fun to pull for no reason at all
-FPS and ROF
-Looks pretty BA (Specially with a scope)
-No rear sight (It's okay, get a red dot scope.)
-Battery insertion was hard to do at first.
