the gears are sturdy and have withstood abuse from an 11.1v lipo+g&p120 turbo motor+m120 spring combo but the reason that im giving it a 4 star is because you have to shim the sector gear higher than normal from the spur gear or else the gears bind up and wont spin. im not sure if its a defect on the set that i bought or if it happens with all cnc gear sets matrix sells.
