Guarder Matte Black Outer Barrel for MARUI / KJW / SoftAir P226 Series Airsoft Gas Guns

"Just got this yesterday, and it is a very nice piece. I bought it for my KJW P226. Mine came with a minor bend (probably due to manufacturer's shipping it in large quantities/getting smashed), so I had to sand down my hopup unit by a tiny bit to get it to slide smoothly.

Other than that, it makes my gun look exactly like the real deal. It slides smoothly now, and is extremely easy to unscrew and remove when swapping barrels or taking apart the hopup unit. If you're looking for the most realistic P226 barrel for your Marui or KJW, this is the one! (My favorite part is the little bit of fake rifling at the very end).

The construction is steel, a lot lighter than the molded/cast iron usually is, and it is extremely strong compared to the "pot metal" (AKA cast iron). It has a slate grey/matte black finish, and a very fine/smooth thread with an o-ring so that you're not breaking your threads by cinching it down too hard. Excellent construction.

May or may not need some minor filing/sanding right out of the package, but is well worth it if you're looking for realism. Really the only downside is the $50 price tag, which I could have spent on more magazines instead. (Get them back in stock, Evike!!)

"Fits like a Champ and greatly increases the appearance value over the factory orange tip barrel. This barrel makes my KJW P226 look as close to real as possible, and the price isn't too prohibitive.. the 2 piece design also makes breaking down the pistol for maintenance or repair a lot easier..

excellent buy!

"I bought this to replace the stock outer barrel in a KJW P226. This is a very nicely detailed barrel. It comes in two parts and allows easy installation of the hop-up unit. It looks identical to the real steel, and even has rifling grooves at the end. However, installation was not without its issues. Mainly, the KJW hop-up was too large to fit easily. I had to sand down the sides to allow it to move freely. This is likely due to KJW manufacturing tolerances, as I also have a KJW P229 along with a Guarder outer barrel and those two fit like a glove.
