Lukily I had this, so I could write on the room who was kidnapping me, launch the tip at the kidnapper, and excape by breaking the bullet proof window with the pen. Date Added: Saturday 26 November, 2011 To answer the previous poster questions, the reason why you would want to break glass or a hard surface is, if you are driving a car and your cars ends up sinking in water, you use the spring loaded tip to break the surface tension of the glass causing it to shatter. Also in a self defense situation the pen could be used as a weapon.
