10 Customer Reviews

"LOOKS GREAT... If you're not trying to put a battery in it.
It's awesome for the looks, just don' try functionality.

Pros:
Looks great!
good price
good color and quality

Cons:
Doesn't fit batteries well

"A neat PEQ2 box. If you need one for external battery and want something nicer / facier looking, you'll like this one.

Can't fit a regular 9.6V battery, but fits most of my 11.1V lipoly pretty good.

If you are looking for external battery hard case (you don't want anything soft that can risk your lipoly getting shot at, it could just die.)

"Ordered this by mistake (was still in my cart from an old visit, didn't notice).

Was surprised...this isn't that bad.

It's shiny, ABS plastic. It doesn't have the matte look of higher end polymer.

It DOES feel solid though. Way better than the junk Matrix PEQ boxes.

The battery space is very generous, and has pass-through holes for the batteries.

Overall - this is a very APPROPRIATELY priced PEQ box. For $22, I'm very impressed. Compared to the ~$40 Matrix ones, these blow them out of the water in quality and function. And the only ones that seem better quality are a jump to the ~$80+ price range.

"Looks Great, NO space
The box looks great, very realistic, the plastic is pretty cheap and the RIS attachment is plastic as well, so dont fall on it. The problem is the box is TINY. There is no space in there. The matrix 20C 11.1V Lipo Packs do not fit even with the extension section, nor do any 9.6v nunchuck batteries.

Pros:
Looks Great
Comes with tools

Cons:
Very cheap plastic
NO space

"This PEQ box doesn't fit most batteries, but ii had to grind out some space for the battery that I found and put the extension on just for the battery overall a good box but little pace for the battery.

"You can Not fit a 9.6 volt butterfly or LiPo stick batteries...... Not happy. The finish is decent and looks good. But check you battery size unless you plan to buy a new one. Also you would think if it was designed to be a battery case they would have a hole to run the power cable.

"Let's start off with the pros and cons:

Pros:
Large enough to fit my 11.1v lipo
some of the dials move and the mock laser covers have reflective lenses giving it a more realistic look
Heavy duty rail attachment

Cons:
glossy plastic. I was really hoping the color would be flatter
Came missing the two long screws required to attach the spacer, had to find my own
Doesn't seem as sturdy as I would like, I'm concerned that if it bumps into anything it will snap off.

All in all not a bad buy if you need to house an external battery. But it needs to be about $15 cheaper for what you actually get. If it was made better I would give it 5 stars, but I was a bit disappointed.

"I received this the other day, got er' set up for larger batteries. spent about 2 Hrs. "modding" the forarm rail and the PEQ box so they liked each other more...didn't help much. This PEQ has a bad mounting design for the rail. What i have noticed was that the clamp has a tendency to "not" clamp fully.

Bump it, and it just may fall off.

"This battery box came to me well packaged and with all the supplied parts intact. However the cheap plastic failed very early on when unscrewing the main compartment, when fitting the extension the plastic cracked under a lightly tightened screw. And when trying to fit it onto the my rail system, the pin was too large and had issues rocking back and forth. Another issue was the the claws on the rail attachments were too short, where they wouldn't grab the rail fully.

Pros:
Aesthetically pleasing
Large compartment

Cons:
Cheap plastic
Not well designed rail mount
