"This AK is incorrectly identified. It is actually an AKMS. Evike is very bad at keeping their aks straight. It is whoever and excellent gun I own the steel version. This AKMS would indeed use 7.62 magazines the one commonly and inaccurately called AK47 mags. You can fit 5.56 or "AK74" mags in it, but you'd be total noob sauce if ya did. So please here are some good mags Or If you like flash mags.

Solid Construction, minimal wobble, feels sturdy.
Decent wood furniture
Comes with a sling
Field ready right out of the box.
Feels like the cold war
Appropriate for virtually every conflict simulation from Vietnam on.

Bad grease job and needs new shims AOE adjustments, deans and overall upgrading to be beastly, But that's every gun... so hey practically no cons.

For an minimal price this is a good starting gun and decent platform for more experienced players.

Pro Tip: If a 9.6v nicad isn't cutting it for you try dremeling a hole out of the back of the lower receiver and running new wire and some deans out where the stock sits when fixed. Take a surplus Russian tourniquet or rubber that looks similar and wrap it around the underfolding stock creating a spot to hide your new Lipo battery. This is a very authentic look for any Russian force.

Try a PBS silencer on the front for even more Russian recon authenticity.

"Killer AEG for those on a budget!

This baby is sweet, feels good and shoots great! The real wood and full metal externals leave very little to be desired, and aside from a quick regrease and shim job to the gearbox, you really don't have to do anything with this baby to make it stand up to the more expensive AEGs out there.

- Externals
- Durability
- Adaptability

Minor Cons
- Half-arsed grease and shim job out of the box
- tiny bit of stock wobble when extended (true to the real steel though)
