DE M291 Full Metal 1911 Full Size Airsoft Spring Pistol

"I got this when it was around 20 bucks, and I can say that it's definitely worth the 35 they're selling it for now. I've had it for around 2 years and it's never given me any issues. It's full metal (except for the grips) and feels incredibly realistic to hold and play around with. The hopup is pretty high and I don't think you can adjust it, but you can get it to be accurate with .25s.

"This pistol is a great beginner option for people looking for an easy-to-use starter pistol. I got this to replace a plastic spring pistol my friend lost. Overall, it's a got a great design, easy to hold and fire, and for a good price. Best under 30-dollar airsoft pistol on the market. The main cons I've had were the .20 gram BBs would curve up so switched to the .25 gram and they work a lot better and sadly the hop-up is non-adjustable. Outside of that, this pistol is a great option for anyone looking for a cheap airsoft sidearm.

I purchased 2 of them and they arried in excellect condition. I use them for target practice and training. The weight and design really do add a sense of realism to the gun. It has very good accuracy and range.

"I got a pair of the DE M291 and they arrived intact.
I have been using it for target practice for 2 months now and I have to say it is a really great buy for its price. Its got good aim and is easy to maintain and clean.
The weight is perfect for a a starter pistol and the design allows for a nice and firm grip.

It you are just starting out and looking for a pistol to begin with, I recommend this highly!!!

"Wow, I love this gun! I got two, one for me and one for my friend. The gun has a very nice heft to it, it feels quite nice in your hand. The mag is decent, it does the job, but the UTG Sports full metal 1911 mag is better, in terms of overall durability, plus the UTG mag has the really handy reserve function. YES, THE UTG SPORTS 1911 FULL METAL MAG IS COMPATIBLE! It's a huge plus, as you can get more mags for only $5 each(thanks Evike!).
In terms of performance, the DE M291 does not disappoint, it's quite accurate(using Matrix 0.20s), although the hop-up's a little strong for my taste, but it shoots clear across the yard(maybe 100-200ft), and it STINGS when you get hit!

Overall a great gun, worth every cent! If you're still not sure, just get this gun!

"M291 Spring Pistol...Perhaps one of the best spring pistols I have found! So fun to shoot! I have several spring pistols. I enjoy just plinking...pretty much on a daily basis. SUPER ACCURATE, AND HAS GREAT RANGE (I find .23s are the best bbs for this gun). The build is amazing...very realistic weight and appearance. The magazine can hold 21 rounds....even up to 24(? I could be wrong, but plenty enough). Mine would double feed at times after approx a hundred rounds...a bb would get wedged inside, between the cylinder and the stock/outer shell. Easy fix; just disassemble and remove the wedged bb, then you’re good to go again.This is the only issue I’ve had with this pistol. I highly recommend this gun!

"Wow, this gun is absolutely amazing for $20. It's actually worth about $100. This gun is extremely durable. I treated it like a firearm, and dropped on concrete floor a lot of times. Still shoots fine. I cannot believe the durability on this pistol. absolutely amazing

"So I got this gun about 2 months ago and I think is amazing! I strongly suggest you buy this gun. Obviously this gun is not the best option for an airsoft battle but it's fun for backyard fun and Target shooting.

- all metal (not sure what kind but nice)
- works great with .25gram 6mm bbs

Cons
- not easy to mod
- paint on iron sight come off easily but is easily painted back on
- shell ejector is kind of sharp if not careful

Overall just a great spring pistol for gun fun in the backyard!

"the contributing factors that caused me to buy this gun were the price and the overall look of the weapon. This is my Second Airsoft purchase and also my 2nd Spring powered Airsoft gun. The gun is by far a well constructed and sturdy gun. I am a collector of 1911's and this is a welcomed addition to my collection. The clip is much better than the UTG 1911 clip in that it is much more well constructed and it feeds the gun far better . It shoots accurately and packs a bit of a punch. The handle is weighted and almost feels like the real thing

"For the price, its great and I do think it's one of the best budget spring pistols that has a metal frame and slide. Inner barrel is metal with plastic outside.

Just know that some of the critical parts are plastic such as the slide release (non-functional. used to keep gun together), mag release, and safety. If the slide or mag release breaks, the gun won't work.

Some other parts that are plastic: lanyard loop, hammer (non-functional), front & rear sight, trigger, magazine, grips, grip safety. I might have missed some others.

This is a cheap airsoft gun that's meant for fun in the backyard.

"I bought this gun because I needed a gun to do target practice with and to play with my friends in their backyard. I think that for the price was pretty fair because of the all metal shell.

Pros- it is sturdy and easy to cock, and it looks really good.

Cons- it is not as accurate as I had hoped for, but it is a springer, so it is okay.
