"Fits my Bolt BRSS AKM just fine!

"Finally the solution to my quest to find a rail system that fits my ak! I own a CM040D and this rail was the one rail out of like 7 other systems i've tried that worked!

Lightweight metal that is pretty sturdy. It lines up perfectly with the sight, and gives clearance for side folding stocks! It feels like theres a few screws that they chose not to include, which is fine since it fits snug anyways, but because theres no instructions that may be confusing to some.

Granted, the CM040D has a metal mock gas tube that prevents the screws closest to the receiver from bolting in (but the farthest pair of screws went in fine) , but from how snug the fit is all around, to the handguard retainer fitting perfectly, and the rear rail preventing it from dropping, this thing fits perfectly.

I think I have an Older CM040D, as mine has the 4 screw TM takedown system, but if yours has 4 screws to disassemble, this system should work for you! If it has a single pin (VFC style i believe?) the other rail systems might be a better solution for you.

"I received my (black) Matix Tactical X47 Rail System For AK Series just yesterday! No instructions. No parts list. I found an installation video online. I watch, followed, and installed it took less than 40 mins (I had minor trouble aligning the 4 retaining bolts that attach the upper rail to the lower rail. Had to wiggle and trial and error them into their threaded holes). That was the only annoying issue. However (according to the video) my kit was missing the "tightening bolt/screw" that tightens the rear of the lower (main) handguard/tri-rail to the rifles lower receiver. It hasn't become a problem yet because it was already a snug squeeze just to position it! It can also be remedied at any hardware store. I love this system! It looks great and even installed on my Century Arms RAS47 American made AKM without any modifications. The kit did NOT include any Allen Wrenches either! Just putting it all in my report! Of course I have plenty of assorted Allen Wrenches leftover from other purchases that did include them. I am very satisfied with "my decision" to buy this item! Economy shipping and "Covids delay" still got it to me in 7 days after purchase date.
I also would like "EVIKE .com" to acquire this system in "TAN" (& other color options). I wanted it in "TAN" but "Black" is a better match to my rifle. But now, I have to get a black AKM Buttstock because my wood stock looks alone and out of place!
I would like to encourage "EVIKE" to acquire the "SRU SRQ" AK Furniture kit (3-D printed black Thumbhole Stock & angled Thumbhole Foregrip) as that is one very promising and very complimentary furniture kit to complete my build! Thanks!

"AEG: Echo-1 RedStar VMG74M (AK74M)

At first glance, unboxing the rails look VERY pretty. Although they're made of a cast metal, they're pretty light. My box was opened by customs so I am unsure if anything was missing but I am under the impression I should have gotten rail guards with the box; these weren't included. Aside from that, there were no instructions so I was stuck guessing which screws went where...Which kind of sucked because there were two different lengths of screws that were similar; yet not the same.

Impressions on quality...The metal is cast, and I can tell its a softer metal and might potentially snap/break under high stress. If you are the kind of player who likes to smack their rifle into bunkers, etc; you may want to forgo this. Its a very solid grip once put together with no shaking or moving on the rifle; which is fantastic. However, the screws can and will strip the threads. So make sure that when you screw it in, you're not unscrewing it again; or that you're putting in the right screw in the first place. That being said there are plenty of screws; and if you mess one up its not a big deal.

It DEFINITELY makes the AK look better, potentially lightens it up and gives it a lot of space for PEQ boxes, flashlights, lasers, etc. The top rail runs the full length of the rifle and provides plenty of options for M4 like attachments (Doubling the scopes up, etc.) I'd recommend it to anyone looking for plenty of rail space on their AK. It looks intimidating and will definitely bring your presence on the field out more. You're not going to find another system that offers quite as much rail space for an AK platform.

Also, this fit the Echo-1 AK74...The Echo-1 is basically a twin of the CYMA 74M so it will fit as well. The 74's are a bit of a larger platform than the 47's, so you'll notice it being a bit harder to get on...It may require a bit of elbow grease and mucking with the gas tubing; but it'll fit. All in all, I'm happy for the price.

Pro's:

Tons of rail space, replaces the polymer guards pretty well, the weight is still relatively down; if not lighter than the polymer grips. Turns any AK into a tacticool killing machine. Can still keep stock AK sight on.

Con's:

Specifically for the Echo-1 VMG, there's not a ton of space for these rails. You're going to scratch where the Gas Tube for the AK is. It takes some elbow grease, but they will fit. Unfortunately the folding stock still won't fold, this however can be mitigated by sanding down a bit of the left grip. Still a better solution than the slide mount on the side.

My biggest issue with the rail system by far is the screws...They strip the threads. It would have been nice to see the rail system have been made of a less malleable metal for the screws and bolts to do that.

"I got this rail set for my Cyma .028U (side folding stock). At first glance, this rail system is very well made material wise. It's lightweight and full metal. The problem I've run into is that the rail system is a PITA to get on. The screw holes take some effort to line up and you definitely work to get it on to where it won't rattle. Also, if you have a folding stock and your battery goes on top of your AK, DO NOT GET THIS RAIL because if you need to change your battery, guess what, you have to remove the rail. Add to that if you have an optic on the back portion of the rail system and you'll have to re-sight everything. totally not worth the effort for me after having to take the rear rail off and put it back on for 5 battery changes, I'm over it. Also, what is with airsoft stuff NOT coming with any form of instructions? I know it's not THAT difficult to put it on by hey.... I'm older now and realize that doing things right the first time saves me a lot of time/headache so I've learned to at least read through instructions first. Spending extra time "figuring" stuff out because there are no instructions is ridiculous.

If however your battery goes in the stock and you're okay with fighting like a baws to get this thing on the first go around, it looks awesome! It's made well and if you place the spacer right and tighten everything down, it's good to go. Don't tighten too much though because you'll strip the heads and threads out super easy.

Pros:
Looks B.A.
Full metal
Durable
Well made

Cons:
Not feasible if you have a folding stock and your battery goes in the top of your AK.
Screws easily strip
It's a pain in the rear to get on
If you don't place the spacer correctly, it WILL rattle
No instructions whatsoever come with it, you just have to figure it out.
