"I have a CA SCAR and I did slightly modify the inner battery area using a head porting tool and air dremel to fit the LIPO inside. Unfortunately, weighing 200lbs, and jumping over a fence under fire, I landed on the tail stock, breaking the catch release. So I fabbed a black anodized bracket to secure it which worked well for about 2 missions. But unfortunately, the last mission, which I cannot divulge-had very tall bambo and long story short, the tail stock does not like my weight on it. This time it severed the battery wires and shorted them together catching them on fire. Remember, weapon on fire in your hands can give your enemy the tactical advantage they are looking for.
So it is time for this stock and a good video review of this product- stay tuned for Skeeter Airsoft's 6mm review on youtube of this nicely made part.

"Like the stock says, its for the DBOY Scar. This is mainly for people who have literally stumbled upon the largest flaw in the body of the scar.... (or at least the airsoft version).... it's stock. I was walking in the woods, when I fell pretty hard and the scar's stock got in between a rock and a hard place. The plastic holding the button to the stock actually broke, not the button. Meaning I could not drill no hole, nor reattach the stock. What I actually had to do for the time being, after I finished the game with the stock folded, was take a shoe string and tie the stock's upper hole part ( you know what I mean,) to the sling mount.... it works but not for long. And every glue I have tried fails because there is not enough contact between the lower frame and the stock.

Overall, the SCAR-L is still my favorite assault rifle period, but this "heavy duty" plastic needs some tuning up.
