"Overall love this thing, gearbox is reliable and I've dropped it quite a lot and it's still going. Best Cyma product I've had so far.

Pros:
The imitation wood isn't that bad and is comfortable if you won't mind not having real wood

Shoots well, the sights stay where you want them too

The high cap Bakelite mag it comes with is reliable

Plenty of room for a lipo battery in the stock

Uses Tamiya connecter

Cons:
Selector safety comes loose every so often

Dust cover is loose, had to fix with tape

Bolt doesn't go that far back, just enough to access hopup

Doesn't come with a black muzzle to replace

Overall great starter AKM. For those asking, it takes both AKM and AK74 mags

"Let me first start out with a disclaimer.

***I HAVE NOT PLAYED A GAME WITH THIS GUN YET***

However, my first impressions so far after testing and overall quality. This gun is absolutely beautiful and a powerhouse. Being my first CYMA and AK, this gun has given me a newfound appreciation for the line up.

My AVERAGE chrono after roughly 500rds was as follows with a Matrix 1450mah 20C 11.1v stick lipo:
.20g ~ 400fps
.25g ~ 345fps
.28g ~ 320fps
And about 15rps

The weight is hefty, but not too over the top. The wood is high quality and feels good to the touch. My only “issues” are the charging handle feeling somewhat cheap (it’s a $230 airsoft gun so I don’t expect a whole lot) and the fuse block cramming up so much potential battery space in the stock. As stated in the chrono part, the Matrix 1450mah 20C 11.1v stick type battery fits just enough with no more room to go any bigger, again because of the fuse block. The Matrix stamped steel mid cap mags are what you want. They feed amazingly, click in tight with no wobble, and give the gun a real AKM appearance. The orange tip is easy to remove with a hair dryer and pliers to gain access to the 14mm negative threads.

If you’re in the market for a classic AK47, this is your last stop. Spend the little extra for the real wood furniture, equip it with the battery and mags I stated and you’ve got an amazingly strong stock gun. If I’m somehow disappointed with the performance over the following weeks as I use it more I’ll update this review, but I have confidence in the potential performance based just merely off the quality. Hope this detailed review saves you the YouTube searches and answers any questions that are sometimes difficult to find.

"So I bought this gun randomly out of a junk bin at a field that I go to and I gotta say, she’s clearly got some age to her and there is nothing Wrong with it. The spring is worn out but that’s an easy replacement. Everything has been stock for probably like 7 years and she still runs great. This gun is definitely solid for the price and ABSOLUTELY a good AEG to have on standby or to just have for a friend if you are experienced, but honestly experienced or new player, this is a good choice

"I forgot to mention that the spring is probably an m120 since mine shot around 410 and the spring guide is a ball bearing spring guide so that's a plus. The overall build is solid (little parts can break) the wood furniture is very bright and scratches under the handguard where the end of the magazine would hit. And the flash hider is glued on. It is a very good gun.

"This gun is great for people who want to get into the inner workings of a v3 because this gun has decent parts. I would recommend replacing the hop-up bucking. That seems to be a problem across all CYMA guns. The gearbox has a plastic piston, plastic piston head, brass cylinder, plastic cylinder head, plastic air nozzle, plastic tappet plate, and all metal gears which mine locked up and needed 're shunned. But once you get your problems out of the way (if you have any) an overall excellent gun.

"Bought this gun about 6 months ago. Use it on average twice a week. This gun is amazing. Hits hard with .25g bb's. I wouldnt use .20g bb's the lowest i used is .23 and those are a little inaccurate. The body is solid metal except for the grip, flash hider. The flash hider snapped off after I dropped my gun one game. So I bought a mock silencer. The magazine is a decent size. I would say around 600 rounds. I carry 2 with me. The fuse is easy to get to also. WELL WORTH THE MONEY. THE SCOPE I BOUGHT WAS $30.00 AND THE MOUNT WAS $30.00, THE MAGAZINE WAS ONLY $15.00.

"This was the first real AEG I've purchased and I'm very impressed no big problems with the gun so far.

Pros:
_Full metal
_Real wood

Neutral:
_High fps ~460 (could be a pro for some but some airsoft areas don't allow non-snipers with and fps over 450)

Cons:
_Upper handguard was very wobbly with the stock and lower handguard being less so, however they are easily fixed by disassembling the gun and inserting electrical tape.
_Most magazines will wobble, again however this can be easily fixed with electrical tape.

"This gun was my first airsoft gun purchase ever. I will say that it has help up pretty well during the 3 month period I've had it! It has a very solid and strong design to it! It feels very good in the hand and very similar to a real AK! It's also a great price for someone who is looking to get into airsoft and starting at one of the best airsoft company's for people on a budget! However, what I have not liked about it was the original mag it came with is very cheap feeling and very flimsy! Buying more magazines should solve that because honestly nobody should be using just one magazine. Another issue was the battery and charger mine came with when I ordered this gun, again one of the first purchases you should get for it should be a new charger and battery! The battery space is quite snug for most batteries! Overall the gun is incredibly durable, fun to shoot and looks amazing! I would recommend this gun to any newer player who wants to spend little as possible on a great gun! Now it's time to upgrade it with newer stuff!

"I got this gun 3 months ago and it has held up like a brute! At home ive dropped it on the floor multiple times and it hasnt broke. On the foeld it has held up better then my buddys new krytac which he spent over $300 on. It also performs better in fps at around 375-385. However i loosened a few screws when i took off the stock and then they fell out on the field but they where easy to find replacements. Overall really really good for beginers or expierienced players because of the full metal and real wood furniture. 11/10

"This akm is a really great for intermediate players ,as myself, I used this ak in many war it usually a uneven team me with the less people but with this it help even it out. Only issue I had was it jamming , but I was using bad bbs so it explains that. Pros good fps( I got around 350 to 375 with .20) good aceracy with .20. Cons it a little heavy at first, not a big problem, you will get use to it

"I got this gun in the boneyard, but I figured I'd write a little review here also.

The wood is pretty darn good, although I do worry about the stock, slightly. It's a little thin at some spots, but that's to be expected. My receiver was broken in several different pieces, so if you're expecting this to last forever, you might be expecting too much! Having said that, it's solid as heck, and from what I can tell, it shoots really well. I love the wood colored mags too. Nice touch.

Bottom Line: Be careful with it!

sturdy
relativly light for a big guy like myself maybe a lil heavy for a smaller guy

the hardguard is a lil wobbly not to worryed
my mag release came out of a lil hole but just put it back in and hadnt happend again
mag is real wobby (like most ak mags) a few peices of eletrical tape on each side will fix

"This AK is a pretty good gun. The only cons about it, is that it is a bit heavy. It's 7lbs. The fps with .12 Bb's is 487, with .20 bb's it's only 377 fps. This gun is very accurate, especially with .20's, but the 8.4v battery it comes with sucks. It doesn't even last that long before dying. I recommend buying a 9.6v battery. With a 9.6v battery, it shoots twice as fast and the battery lasts twice as long. Also, the mags hold 550 rounds not 600. It's not A big difference, I'm just trying to tell you facts.

Overall, very good gun. Best part about it is the accuracy.

"Amazing!!!!!!!! i bought this gun about a year ago and it is amazing. the original fps was around 460 for mine but it slowly went down to 445 but thats because i use to not relax the spring. it is accurate as can be (with hop up just right u can hit a can at 175 feet and a ring box at 100) granted it weighs around 11 to 12 pounds (i added a custom made solid wood stock with an external battery pack. the firing rate is pretty good (800 rpm).

pros
450+ fps
800 rps with 8.4v
accurate to 200 feet
can beat out many pros if you are good enough
beats out my other two aks(even with heavy upgrades)
all metal
epic and sexy

cons
original stock and battery that comes with it is terrible

over all get this gun
