"Wow, I guess I bought the last one. Still gonna' review it though!
First, the stock is sturdy. Will take a beating. It has two QD mounts for slings at the base of the stock and towards the butt, making it quite convenient for hauling a m249. It actually DOES house a battery; the ones specific to these particular crane-stocks.The butt-plate comes off, relieving the nifty little cubby for the very specific battery you will have to purchase. You'll have to separate the stock from the buffer tube to access it, though.
And speaking of the buffer tube, it is an appallingly short one at that, with only about an inch of play to extend. This is the only gripe I have, apart from the only plastic butt-plate. I wish it had a rubber piece or at least the shoulder brace the whole stocks provide... Other than that, it is a rather reliable and snug-fitting stock with at least some extending ability, which is more than you could say for the full-style ones.
Plus, it's the cheapest I could find...
