"I purchased this for an ICS M4. This barrel WILL NOT work with stock ICS front end parts. This is an ICS design issue. You will have to purchase a new barrel nut/ front-end parts. The barrel is dark gary in color and very sturdy. The front section can be removed without any tools in seconds. Theres no wobble in the main barrel or the front section once attached. This is a great barrel for the price.
NOTE: ICS M4 owners must replace or modify stock barrel nut, handguards, or RIS to use.

"This barrel is good for converting your M4 CQB or M16 to M4 length. If you already have a m4 don't buy it. It has plenty of room for different brands of tight bore barrel to fit. If there are too much play room just put a 10 cent o-ring from home depot around the inner barrel at the tip.
