"Very accurate and powerful gun. Shoots and looks better than my friend's classic army version. Come with free battery and charger. The scope is right on the dot.

"It's a good gun, shoots fast and consistently, never had a jam or anything else on that level. Nice scope, but it's not the traditional aug reticle. Comes with a battery and charger which is nice. It has an annoying hi cap which works but needs constant winding and rattles, but that's how hi caps are. Has nice, adjustable sling points, irons atop the scope, and an easily adjustable hop up. Also, it's really accurate out to every range I've used it. Great gun, just don't drop it too hard.

"i bought this gun around two or three years ago and it lasted longer than expected ;P knowing jg and its meh quality. when i got it out of the box it felt nice, the plastic is durable as it should be, and the receiver is metal, not top quality, but good none the less. im left handed, and it is great for that :) the sling mount on the back can be switched to the other side. the safety can be switched; and the cheek rest can be switched as well. the hop-up is a little touchy but its fine, the barrel is meh but it doesnt necessarily need to be changed. all i ever did to this gun internally is buy a matrix barrel and a metal hop-up; it worked like a dream. as for the gearbox, i have no earthly idea. im no mechanic, so i dont even touch the gearbox. i just know its a standard v3 and is average. the fire rate is nice, i would invest in a custom 9.6...just dont even try a lipo in a jg lol. the space for such a battery is limited other than that. the scope on my specific model was incredibly hard to adjust, the knobs had to be taken off and i had to push the adjustment tool itself to get it where i wanted it to be. the knobs are cheap metal :(
the one gripe i have......and it bugs me to death. is the blasted foregrip. CHRIST its wobbly. NO ONE HERE can justify that wobble....just dont even try :s i just fold it up and its fine. i personally invested in a m203 mount, and an A2 receiver, and they work fine with the gun. as far as magazines go MAG brand midcaps feed usually, remember to lube them! idk about the other brands, im pretty sure matrix brand works though. use either .25s or .23s for best performance :3 buy at evike of course (;

over all the pros are:
nice fps, not too op
good build quality for the most part
has lasted me way too long
grenade launcher mount looks cool :)
can change receivers and/or barrels in seconds
nice rof with an 8.4
scope WORKS
magazines are not expensive usually
not too pricy
trigger response is nice

cons:
THE GRIP OMG
metal is meh on some pieces
the knob to change barrels can break easily or can fall out (so keep an eye out for it)
nasty jg trademarks were disgustingly inscribed on my model
the foregrip is horrible
charging handle is just annoying sometimes
not much battery space
the barrel is scratched easily
jg internals....
pathetic foregrip
makes you look like a call a duty nerd according to my children and their friends.
TERRIBLE FOREGRIP JG PLEASE CHANGE IT PLEASE *meow*

overall get it if you like augs. id invest in a new barrel and hop-up to amp up fps and accuracy a little (here at evike =^-^=) if u have the money get a few magazines or a 9.6 custom. its a good gun ;D

jg fix the grip for the love of God

"pretty decent gun. i would buy it again

PRO

it is VERY accurate (bullpup design gives you longer inner barrel)
scope is dead on accurate
heavy

CONS
fps could be better
safety is very flimsy (it can fall out) but I'm sure its easy to mod

overall good gun and it will be something to fear once i upgrade the spring

"This gun...its awesome.
Ive played with echo 1's all my life and then I purchased this. do NOT under estimate this weapon, even with its tiny 8.4 volt 1100 MIAH battery, its life is long and its burts are fast.

Accuracy-5/5, at 200 feet, i got all in the black of the targets it came with after some scope adjustment.

Rate Of Fire- 5/5, Id say about 20 RPS or more with a fully charged 8.4 volt 1100 MIAH battery. IT IS SICK

Field stripping- 4/5, everything is easy to get to, especially the barrel. easy as one two three.

Customization- 3/5, doesn't have rails on it, but I'm getting the King Arms phantom kit soon.

Upgrade-ability-4/5, there aren't many gearbox upgrades but slap a M120 spring and a 650MM tightbore and your good to go! (530mm if your not using the phantom kit)

mag changes-5/5, My speed was greatly increased compared to a 614 model from echo1.

Overall, I give it a 4.3/5, It would be a solid five with a few, very minor modifications done by the consumer. this will smoke a KWA or a marui after a few upgrades

"great gun. not sure wat is different in the new version though. anyway, it has pretty decent accuracy. im also pretty sure that the scope is 1.5 magnification. with the hi-cap that comes with it, it is pretty annoying to have to wind so frequently. the scope is aligned slightly to the left on mine, not sure how to adjust it. btw, make sure the mag is out of the gun when u take it apart. i forgot to take out the hicap and 7 bbs got stuck in the gun. if u take off the battery cover u can shake them out.rof could be a little higher. nice finish (shweet od). the charging handle got stuck a few times, so i had to file some stuff down to make it run smoothly. very realistic, probably one of the most realistic guns u can get. good gun, recomend it, and get some king arms mid-caps

"Pros-
Good build quality
Easilt adjustable hopup
Good sight

Cons-
Included mag is poor
Sight is difficult to adjust and it strips easily
Bbs tend to curve

Overall its a well built gun but the reticle was crooked on mine and the sight adjustments are poor, so accuracy suffers at medium to long range. Fps is decent but not as high as advertised.

"I live in an area where real AUGs are banned, so I bought this in an attempt to quell my AUG lust. Shipping took about 12 days thanks to the flugaloo, but honestly that's not too bad all things considered.
Like the real rifle, this model has a polymer body but instead of nylon it's some form of styrene judging by how it sounds and feels. The foregrip is also pretty wobbly and makes an audible sproing sound when bumped.

The scope is also pretty useless due to combination of cheap glass, a small tube, and poor eye relief. The cheap glass and small tube means not a lot of light gets in and leads to a pretty dim picture. At a standard firing position the scope sits about 6" from the eye and you can only see a little around the center "donut of death" and in order to see the whole picture you need to bring your face in to about 2-3". My biggest peeve is that my model has a reticle that's canted a couple degrees to the right.

It's still an AUG though, and that's pretty cool even if it's creaky and has a dim canted scope.

Is it like the real deal? No.
Is it worth the $160? If you don't care about the build quality or scope, then yeah probably.

"I've had this rifel for about 1 month now and I give it 3 stars it's good but not good enough you can find better guns for less money but this is not a bad way to go my biggest problems with the gun were the grip sooooo anyoing and then all the plastic parts and crap the fire selector I'm not sure what happened but if I push it to far one way it can slide out

Over all a decent gun

"A decent gun as is but broke one day after my return policy expired.

The internals in the mag well are very cheaply made which resulted in the piece that holds the mag in breaking off. Now putting the mag in results in bbs rushing into the gearbox of the gun and jamming everything up.

"This gun is terrible. The guns sight may be the only redeeming thing about this gun. To start things off the sight is actually on 1.5x not 3x. The gun is low quality and falls apart. Scratches easily. The gun is actually only good in the aspect of that it shoots very well. Frankly don't buy this gun. There are much cheaper guns that work much better.
by Michael V. on 06/15/2012
"It started out as a good gun, and I was happy with it when I first got it, but over time it just started to fall apart, literally.

Pros:

- Good built in scope
- Nice and sleek looking
- Accurate
- good build in vertical grip

Cons:

- The butt pad kept falling out, lost it on the field a few times. (but you can use duct tape to fix that)
- The safety is awful. And it fell out and was unable to be fixed.
- B.B's get stuck in the body of the gun and jam the trigger, and you can hear them rattling.
- The trigger gets stuck ALOT, & the gun won't stop shooting.
- Heavy, & not comfortable to carry.
- the only thing holding the upper and lower receiver together is 1 square metal pin, only held in place by the weight of the gun.

Overall I was happy with it for a while, but I would never buy it again, ever.

"This gun has diesel fps, but it does not have the best accuracy. Also the gun sometimes has trouble receiving the bbs from the magazine. at one point there were 20 bbs stuck some where in the gun untill i shook them out. Also one out of 10 shots is a blank. Get an Echo1 gun if you are trying to save money but still have a quality AEG.
