i bought this for my CYMA/Cybergun Galil and i have to say, its a great motor. I would recommend buying deans connectors to replace the stock connectors because the ones in my gun got hot enough that i had to wait til' they cooled down to disconnect the battery. The motor is great for a light "DMR" type gun. I have found that with a stock 8.4v battery and an m130 spring it could raise the fire rate. i dont know how high tension of a spring this motor is capable of pulling, but im pretty sure its up to an m180. anything higher than that, id get a systema magnum! If you are looking for a reliable motor that can out out a good bit of power even with a lower voltage battery, get this!!!

AMAZING MOTOR, NUFF SAID! This thing is great for efficiency and trigger response while still providing a very respectable ROF. My custom G36C is shooting 21 RPS with an M120 spring and standard ratio gears and wiring! Excellent upgrade for those of you who run a small battery because it will last a very long time. I would HIGHLY recommend a small or large 9.6v battery or a 7.4v lipo because that will bring out the awesome performance this motor offers! Don't listen to those guys who worship SHS or JG motors, Matrix makes some very nice internal components! BUY IT!!!!

I have to tell you, Matrix Magnum motors are THE BEST! I absolutely love these things! I have bought 2 of them. A short type for my ICS L85, and a long type for a custom M16 build I did. The motor can pull an M130 like it's a nerf gun spring! I would use at least a 9.6V battery with the motor to get the full performance out of it. great trigger response, great ROF, and this thing has excellent strength! I would recommend Matrix motors for any upgrade or build!

This is a great motor if you want your AEG to pull a hard spring but still have good rps at a fair price. I think that this motor, as many others say, is comparable to $100 systema motors. I use a 10.8v 5000mah battery with this motor and a m120 spring and still shoot 28rps.
Pros:
-Pulls a hard spring with good rps
-High quality motor for a fair price
Cons:
-Needs a fairly large battery 9.6 1600mah or higher is what i reccomend

I bought this for my friend for his b-day when his CA36 stopped working. We didn't know exactly what was wrong with it, but it sounded like the motor in his gun was just too weak to turn the gears. So i bought this for him and installed it for him. (Which was a hassle because the G36 is such a tight squeeze on the inside) When i shot his gun to see if it worked, i was amazed by the firing rate! I hope his gun has high-grade gears inside because im worried that they will be stripped by the raw power of this motor if they are not. This is a great buy and i am completely satisfied with my purchase! Thanks Evike and thanks to Matrix products for the great customer experience.

just installed this into my G36C, along with a pdi 190%(m120) spring. This motor is so powerful. It was holding my screw driver up through the plastic hand grip, which never happened on my stock motor. It is a great motor. It pulls back an pdi 190% or M120 spring very easily, while still maintaining the same rate of fire that I had with my stock motor and spring. DEFINITELY recommended.

I bought this for my CYMA AKM .036. Stock the gun is incredibly accurate; ROF decent and Excellent (360-400+)FPS. After install of this motor, which only took me about 5mins total, while on the "john" LOL! All it took was a four-head screw and wire cutter.
Any-how, after some 1000 tests shots. Currently no crono. But I can say, definitely a increase in ROF, FPS, and trigger response. Bbs fly out in a blink and range is at least 2x farther. Trigger response was instant. Before motor swap, stock I was able to gently pull one bb at a time on Full-Auto mode. The Matrix motor hits fast with about 6 bbs flying out, compared to stock. The Matrix Magnum magnet strength is a bit over rated but it is some what stronger then a CYMA AK .036 motor. Overall test was on a 9.6v 4500mah battery.
Performance on 8v stock battery isn't worth talking about as the differences were not as much noticeable but satisfying too.
Another thing I noticed is heat. This thing heats up quick! After about a mag and a half I notice the handle becoming warm. I'm not sure if this is normal on magnum motors or aftermarket performance motors in general, but heat is a NO-NO...
PROS:
FPS increase
ROF increase
Faster trigger response
Increased magnet strength
CONS:
Heats up faster
full stars, I guess not today. If only heat was not so noticeable.

I installed this motor in my CYMA M14, along with a PDI 210% spring, Elite 9.6v 1500mah battery and clean wiring with deans plugs. My stock motor was too weak to pull the PDI 210 back a few times without heating up a lot, and it did it verrry slowly, so I got this motor to retain my rate of fire.
Despite what I had read about Magnum motors, this particular motor is not a high speed motor, only a high torque motor. My M14 shoots only about 18 rounds per second with this motor, but the semi-auto is very fast, I can't just tap the trigger and make the piston stop partway back. It leads me to believe I can put a much heavier spring than the PDI 210 in my gun and it would turn over almost as fast. I was a little disappointed with this motor as it didn't live up to its high-speed rep, but since I use my M14 as a semi-auto only DMR, the merely average full-auto speed isn't an issue.
I would recommend this motor to anyone with a clone AEG, especially when upgrading your spring. Obviously you'd have to get the right shaft length for your gun.
I only installed this motor a couple days ago so I can't comment on its lifespan, but I have no complaints so far, other than the fact that it's not a high speed motor as well as a high torque motor like it was advertised as. But hey, it's only $45.

Great motor. Pulls an m140 with no problems and still has a great ROF.
