Consistency is much better also, even without an external Gas Rig. I'm not sure if this part is coming to Evike anytime soon though, (it's been on back-order for at least three months for me now) so I ordered mine off of another site. Submited By: Eric G. Date Added: Monday 21 September, 2009 I feel a need to correct the previous reviewer...The Tanaka M700 action is the basis for the M24 and the M40 (as it is with the real steel versions - the M24 and M40 are the end result of military tinkering with the Remington 700 varmint rifle), so all upgrades intended for the Tanaka M700 will fit.
