Modify Anti-Reversal Latch Ver.2 / Ver.3 Gearbox.

"Cool setup. I bought a few but now it’s cheaper to make my own version 😉 if you can’t figure that out then here’s this very well thought out anti reversal latch system. Although the pop out isn’t ever a problem if you spin the bevel till it’s touching the latch, like it’s engaged, and let go and unless you knock the bevel out the latch is locked in place. Enjoy.

"Overall a big step up over most stock/aftermarket parts just by nature of always retaining the spring and allowing external spring decompression via a small flathead. I thought it was extra special and had some way to permanently mount to the gearbox to avoid the ever present pop out issue but if it does have that feature I haven't figured it out.

FIRST YOU NEED A SMALL FLATHEAD

SECOND ONCE YOU PUT IN THE AR LATCH PUT THE FLATHEAD IN AND TURN IT CLOCKWISE (YOU MAY BE SCARED OF THE AMOUNT OF PRESSURE YOU HAVE TO PUT BUT THAT'S PERFECTLY NORMAL) FINALLY PUT THE BEVEL GEAR IN AND TURN THE BEVEL GEAR COUNTER CLOCKWISE WHILE HOLDING THE AR LATCH DOWN WITH YOUR FINGER UNTIL YOU HEAR A CLICK AND THEN YOU ARE DONE! NO MORE AR LATCH POPPING OUT AND BEING ANNOYING!
