I bought it to go on rails on my pistol and it works like a charm. The only problem now is that the rails for my pistol don't fit. But as my friend says a little filing never hurt anything. Date Added: Friday 17 September, 2010 This is a great little Red Dot sight. I have one on my Umarex/Ares G36C and it's fantastic. This sight is very very small so if you're worried about it being hit, forget it. Nonetheless, if you're paranoid like me, I purchased a scope protector for it any way. (It's so small that it covers the sight from the front and the shield isn't even raised.) Honestly, you might be able to find a equal quality red dot for a better price, but if you decide to go with this one, you will not be disappointed. It is also fully adjustable and has a very cool On/Off switch on the front as you can see. I have no Cons with this product, unless you consider its size to be a Con. Overall, fantastic red dot.
