"Completely surprised these work. I've ordered two of these from various retailers and been served nothing but disappointment each time. I'm an electrician by trade and let me tell you the wiring in both was horrible. The first one had wires pinched behind the back cover and had been completely cut, in addition to being a rats nest inside the unit. Upon first use the pressure switch connector broke and fell inside the mag. Don't even get me started on solder job inside as well. My golden dog could do a better job with a soldering iron. The description says it will fit most M4s, and it does, like garbage. I have 3 different M4s from 3 different manufacturers and on every single one of them I had to zip tie the mags snug to the gun to get them to feed right. I feel like I just paid $60 for a magazine I shouldn't have had to pay $10 for. The only reason I didn't give this mag the lowest rating is because they actually work well now. Only after a I re-soldered 6 contacts in one, 4 in the other, replaced a couple cut wires, re-routed all of the wiring, hot glued a bunch of electronics down, and zip tied them to the guns I was using them on did they work as like a charm. My advice, don't buy these mags unless you've got some time on your hands to make immediate repairs. Or if you don't mind wondering how in the heck your brand new magazine made past matrix QC department in the first place.

"So I had the manual winding one, and when I decided I was gonna get this I traded it off. When this arrived, its construct felt notably... different, for some reason. Obviously there's a motor and whatnot, but just the feel of the plastic. I want to say it felt like a cheaper grade, but I suppose that's nitpicking.

The reason for the 2-star score is because during my first game with it, the box stopped feeding entirely. The continuous winding was only used to wind it initially prior to starting the game, and thenceforth it was in sound-activated mode; which, while the box worked, left me with no complaints. It appears that the spring that feeds the BBs up into the gun broke or came out of place or something. Considering how long the manual box has lasted, and is lasting, this is a significant disappointment.

Additionally, the provided pressure switch does not fit into its socket in the unit. I never intended to use it, but it's still an annoying observation.

It appears most have had better luck with this drum. Hopefully mine was only a fluke.

"this magazine is not reliable at all. as soon as i started to use it the conector to recharge the batteries broke and i now have to use a button at the bottom to wind it (which still works). my freind similarly bought this same mag and now he has to self wind his which is very hard. i definetly do not recommend this. although i now use this same mag but its the manual winding version and i have not had problems with it.

"Refused to wind even with multiple hours on the charger. The pressure switch did not work either. Tried multiple chargers.

"Pretty much burned up on me in minutes after first fielding it. It started feeding, then stopped, then the burning smell.
Not much lese to say, it doesn't work.
