"If you simply want to attach flash hiders / suppressors to your Fa-mas, you don't need this adapter for the Cybergun Fa-mas, they will fit the original barrel extension perfectly.
If you want to shorten the length of your gun by removing the outer barrel then buying this part to use with a flash hider will require you to buy a shorter barrel since the original barrel is 472mm which is very long. You don't need a shorter barrel if using a suppressor. And I am not sure if you still need this if you have a TM Fa-mas.
I also had to use a dremel in order to get this part to fit my gun, however it gets the job done and I like the shorter look of the Fa-mas with this and a flash hider (including a 455mm inner barrel).

"great quality and finish, works as intended and the threads are very strong.
PROS:
-quality is top notch
-finish is great
-super strong threads
-has the groove for the "retaining" spring that is on the stock Cybergun barrel
CONS:
-the part that goes into the front iron sight/outer barrel holder, was about 1.5mm to large in diameter to fit the Cybergun... so ii had to dremel grind it to fit
-there are no threads for the grub screw to hold this the the front iron sight/outer barrel holder
