"The SOC 16 is fantastic. This is my first AEG, and it is everything that I would have hoped for. The gun feels right and is built very well. Shooting it with my buddies ICS M-4, this thing is so accurate and has a great ROF for a stock gun. I recommend this for anyone, if you want a great shooting and looking M-14.

"Recieved the G&G SOC 1, and was very very happy with the entire package. The gun is great to hold and feels very nice. The only exterior piece I wasn't happy with was the barrel cover. I shot this gun for the first time a few days ago and was surprised by the rate of fire and the overall accuracy of the gun. I put on the NC Star tactical 4 reticle sight and it looks and works perfect.

Would recommend this gun to anyone, who wants a great looking, functioning AEG.

"My friend got this gun some time ago, a few years or so and sold it to another friend of mine when he went to Iraq, well unfortunately my friend didn't take good care of it and fired it when a BB got jammed in the barrel until one of the gears were stripped out, now after replacing it and putting in a metal spring guide, this thing fires like a rabbid banshee and has solved my problems of finding a new primary weapon. Overall this gun fires absolutely fantastic and i haven't even lubed it up or really fine tuned the hop up and it shoots straight as an arrow over 150ft easy, so i'm gussing it could hit a person at 200ft with .2g after i finish fixing up the barrel and cleaning it out. But I was disappointed to see that it had a plastic spring guide, given the price I don't think plastic was adequate, so I dropped a CA spring guide i had spare in and it's firing great. The gun is a little heavy, but that keeps true to the M14-series rifles, and I plan on putting an M120 or M130 spring in here with .25g ammo for a longer-range rifle. For $255 I was wary, but now that I have fired it and have seen that it is easy to work on, very powerful stock, fires at about 12rps, and shoots 350+fps, I'm more than happy to buy it from my friend or buy one from Evike.
