"Love the gun, the barrel is not threaded, I did have the trigger lock up i corrected it by taking out the motor and advancing the gearbox, then I backed off the motor screw. No more trigger lock issue. It will need to be greased. I am swapping out the inner barrel for a 6.03 tight bore. But out the box running a 7.4 lipo wired thru a deans easy 8 inch group at 250 ft.

"Got this rifle a few years ago. Beautiful rifle I would recommend a 6.03 tight bore and the mags with the follower and you will love this rifle I've done some work to mine since and it is now a little howlt for most fields at 475 here in the states but that can be fixed with a lower spring. Deadly accurate and reliable would recommend also wiring to deans but that's with any AEG

"It's a good gun (to be expected at this price point). Accurate with .32 gram bb's and able to hit a man sized torso consistently at 150 feet right out of the box.

A couple things to note for people considering buying this:

This is heavy for an airsoft gun. Once I attached an optic and bipod the gun was a little less than 9 pounds.

Mine was shooting around 460-465 fps with .20g bb's out of the box.

it is wired to a large tamiya. You will need a small tamiya adapter or deans adapter to run the more common battery types.

It comes with three rail covers, but does not come with a front sight (not a problem as you should be running an optic on this).

Magazines are a little tempermental. I bought three GR25 midcap magazines with this gun (the ones made by G&G). Two feed well, but the last one is a little loose in the magazine well and required a little electrical tape to get it fit right. The magazine that came with the gun was a really snug fit. But all the magazines are easy to take apart and put back together.

TLDR: It's a good and accurate DMR that has a few minor issues that some may gripe at. Personally, I think it worth the price.

"Fantastic gun externally, internally it's a monster which surprised me because here it said 350 ish with .2's and mine is shooting a consistent 490-500 with .2's. With .32's it shot straight as an arrow when I first fielded it this past Sunday and I couldn't be happier when the 250-300' shots I'm taking are connecting with a person's goggles. Can't say enough how impressed I am with the performance.

"This is a great gun. Great G&G internal that shoots without any skipping. Externally the finish is very nice, comes in a very nice box. The box is so nice you want to frame it. Great accuracy due to the long barrel.

Regarding "Muzzle Velocity" and "Range":

400 FPS is muzzle velocity. It doesn't mean the bb will travel 400 feet. There is "Gravity" and "Wind Friction". So although all Airsoft gun shoots 200~600 fps, the maximum effective range is only 20~150 feet. (Airsoft is designed for gaming not for hunting, if you need something with 300 feet range, get a hunting use bb gun)

"william that is what i have in mine right now and its working fine

"475 fps is incorrect. it is actually about 300 fps, which makes sense since one meter is about one yard and there is three feet per yard.

"really great looking gun and good internals with nice r.a.s. and r.i.s.

"Bought this gun for a polarstar suppressor build thinking it actually had threads. It does not. The gun stock does not perform the greatest. Its okay. It requires immediate maintenance out of the box everything was coated in grease the barrel the hop the bucking etc. Anyways its too late to return because its been beat up pretty good to find out about the threads. So I'm salty at evike for the false advertising but hey thats airsoft I guess. Now i need to buy a new outerbarrel or a tap and die set.

"Great fun external and internal. I shot it at around 200ft and its very accurate. Within 1/8 grouping with .28. I've had one problem tho. The trigger locked up after a few hundred shots. Since this gun is semi only I can't unlock without voiding the warranty. So if you get this gun do not spam the semi auto at all. Beside that it's all good.

"ok i see that the fps is 90mps...so i googled it and it came to 475fps. does this seem like the right fps or does it shoot slower, faster? and would this thing be able to take that Systema M150 Taper Spring?

i know this is for reviews and im asking a question but im thinking of buying this gun and need to know in a couple days.

"So this gun is very heavy. It shoots around 420fps with .28 so it shoots hot.
Do not use matrix battery with this it will cause the gun to lock up. I know it wasn't my fault sense I waited 1-2 seconds between each shot.
I had to sand the inside of the magwell to get the STOCK mag to work with the gun.
So that is why I give this gun a 2/5 I should not have to modify it if I'm paying 400+.
Pros
Accurate at range (250ft)
Shoots hard (could be con)
Tight grouping (less than 1/4 of inch of 200 ft)
Cons
Heavy
Shoots hard
