"Solid mp40 by agm. I got mine and was immediatley happy with it's weight and feel. Although i dont use it much (never) i agree its a nice mid priced aeg. It performs well out of the box and comes with one mag and charger. If you like WWII stuff get this u will be happy you have it around. BOOTY.

"This AEG is very good for getting BBs out.It is has a low price but acts as a profesional gun. The only problems i have encountered: after a while the bolt gets loose from playing with all you have to do is screw it back in or tighten it, the screws came out of the stock but you can screw them back in and the paint scratches out in some spots but it makes it look real.I have had this for a year and a half now so those problems are very minor. As a WW2 airsofter i would recomend this to a German player who wants a hard hitting gun with a cheap price. My Mp40 has been sighted in for 50 yards and gets pretty solid groups so it has good range for a submachine gun. So now that i have this i will be getting a cybergun Thompson M1A1 in the mail very shortly. Overall a very solid gun GREAT BUY!!!!. 4.5 out 5.

"While by no means a BAD gun, it definitely has some issues.
For starters, I've noticed issues with feeding, I found the best solution to this being removing then re-inserting the mag. However this hasn't worked all the time, with one instance requiring me to disassemble it mid game. I don't know if this is just MY MP40 or if this is an issue with all of the MP40's. Another issue is its issue with strength. For an all metal airsoft gun it felt very solid when I first bought it, however after light use in one game that quickly changed. The first thing I noticed was how the charging handle (used to get to the hop up) began to loosen, as well as the slide being very stiff when trying to get to the hop up. The rear sights began to slide to the right making them no longer aligned with the front sight. Lastly, after opening the gun about 4 times (to place in and remove the batteries before and after games) the gun now no longer feels solid as the two sections can be twisted a few degrees to either side. I should also mention that now whenever I open the slide to get to the hop up, closing it has sometimes caused the slide to hit the hop up instead of going over it as the two are no longer aligned.

Other points worth noting:
The sling that came with the gun does not fit (or at the very least I could not get it to fit)

Overall:
While it was fun to use, I do not see myself using this in any more games. If you are willing to put up with its issues, it did preform well when I got it to feed correctly. If you are looking for a replica to collect I would highly recommend it. However if your looking for a gun to use in actual games without issues I would not recommend it. Personally I'm going to get something more reliable for my next games, which is sad to me as I REALLY wanted to like this gun, but it just isn't worth it.

"I bought this gun for my Son to use when we go airsofting together. Chrono at under 300fps and diet during the first match. I took it to the shop to see what they could do as well as upgrading the spring and hop up. They replaced the spring but would do no other upgrades as the internals are ALL PLASTIC. They weren’t certain that the gun could withstand the upgrades with out destroying it’s self. I’m a bit disappointed as he really loved this gun.

"Pros: Pretty Accurate
Collapsible stock is ideal for CQB
345 FPS
Full Metal

Cons: Sling it comes with doesn't fit
My gun worked for two hours until permanently breaking. I had to send it back.
No Safety
Extremely small magazine (buy a high cap)
Unfolded stock wobbles A Lot

Overall, this gun wasn't bad. Mine was just a dud. I wouldn't recommend it over an M4, but it is a very fun SMG.

"I would say this is a decent gun out of the box. but there are just a few things wrong with it.

Pros:
Unique gun on the field
can take upgrades (V2/V3 parts)
DURABLE
Surprisingly large battery storage

Cons:
Heavy
Eventually the stock WILL wobble, A LOT
Small mag capacity
Gearbox is difficult to work on
Mine eventually developed a wiggle on the take down tab and that made it misfeed almost every shot

I would not recommend this for anything other than reenactment its a very cool gun but AGM did design the hop well on it. There are a number of forums that show you how to modify an AK hop to work and its worth it. That being said, after all the time I have put into mine I love this gun and everyone always has something nice to say about it.

"To the guy a couple reviews down, yes it does mean feet, the maximum range test on a foot ball field is 60 yards. BE warned the hop-up is horrible and it is not accurate. 11 inch groupings at 25 feet, the stock is wobbly and it has cheap pot metal, but is a good collector's item.
