"Bought two spare mags for the Proforce Sig P229 and they were a tight fit. Howerever after multiple inserts they drop down freely. They are now scratched arounf the mag edges, guess that's what needs to break in to make it fit better.

Fill valve and knock valve are different from the mag from the Proforce 229. The KP-02 have a cone shape vs the sig having a flat face.

I bought the proforce 229 and the origi al mag felt a bit sluggish, a spare proforce mag ran very well. After trying the KP-02 mags, the ran the same as the original mag that came with the gun, so no improvement.

Overall would recommend if you are in a tight budget since they are half the price the once proforce sells.

"The mags work as well as the stock one. Mine didn’t come with any leak issues and I haven’t experienced any yet.

"I bought about 3 of these and played about 3 long pistol games with them. Had a few issues; they all started to leak after a month and since its solid metal, they get cold really easily which isn't good for any GBB. However not all is bad, the leaks were an easy fix and which cost me a whole $8 to fix by myself. If your handy with airsoft or tech stuff I recommend you do it yourself, its not hard. Here is all the stuff you would need to fix a leaky mag, lighter, teflon tape, silcon oil and maybe a new o ring.

I just wanted to tell everyone that GBB pistol mags, whether its for the P229 or not, will leak, especially if your not taking care of them. Learning to fix them by yourself saves you money and heartache.

Just a last tip, remember to keep your mags at least partly full of gas, this keeps your seals under pressure which prevents the o rings from going bad.

"In my experience these DO NOT FIT in the sig pro force p229, maybe I just wasn’t working them in and out of the gun hard enough but they we’re getting stuck halfway up the mag well and it sucked trying to force them back out. Just bite the bullet and buy the sig proforce mags.
