Matrix Clamshell Belt-Mount Holster for MP7 Series Airsoft SMGs

"Got it for the new mp7 aeg and just had to loosen up the two back screws and now it fits perfectly like it’s supposed to be there and I love how you can configure it and it will work on mollie.

"I use this for my KWA MP7 and it does exactly what its supposed to. It keeps my MP7 right where i want it. I did not know its not made for molle webbing but if you flip the mount around and use a few zip ties its not going anywhere. There isnt much sway when running and i have never had my MP7 slip out while the band was on.

Pros:

Can have attachments on the gun

Can be made to fit on my battle belt

Cons:
Isnt the fastest draw, you have to undo the rubberband
Really hard to put the MP7 back in with one hand


Other holsters are big and you cant have attachments but this thing works great

"I bought this for my KWA MP7 and it works like a champ. I can't comment on the durability after continuous uses but after several games with this strapped to my side I can say I'm very happy. My main concern going into this purchase was how well would it secure my MP7 and would it swing around when I ran? It does hold it securely and surprisingly it doesn't move around too much when it's locked in place. The material is a nice textured plastic with two rubber spacers in the middle with screws running through them holding it all together. Its built pretty tough and as long as you're not too rough with it I don't see it breaking. My only concern is the "rubber band" style locking mechanism it has on it. If anything is going to break it's that. Just don't jerk on it too roughly eh? My way of using it is the opposite of how it is displayed in the picture where I have it detaching by pulling it back instead of forward. It is just more comfortable for me and since the rail is thinner than the bottom I think it puts less stress on the holster inserting it in. You don't have to worry about the locking mechanism for attaching it to your belt since it is very secure. It's almost too secure as I had a few problems taking it off. It has a small lock you fold down and it's kind of hard to pop it back out.

A side note is that I also have the Angry Gun suppressor on my MP7 and with it attached it hangs down too far and slaps against your leg. It will also get in the dirt if you kneel down so I would not advice having it on while holstered.

"I purchased this here at Evike since every other store was based overseas and had this holster priced at about $50+ with shipping, it cost about $21 here with a coupon code and Evike's super saver shipping.

The quality is pretty good. The outside of the holster has a Kydex like texture to it, but the inside is more of a smooth polymer. It feels durable either way. The rivets and screws are metal are an Allen type head. The screws are a little odd, since they are a little off in the dimensions and requires you to find the closest sized key and kinda widen the screw head.

The holster holds my Well MP7 pretty nicely, there is a little wobble but not enough to knock the gun out of the holster. It sits pretty high on the MP7 so it will move as you run. I am yet to try it in a game and see how much it moves.
I wouldn't suggest using and heavy accessories like scopes or the 40 extended mags for this, it makes it too awkward to move with. Stick with the short 20 rounders and maybe an Aimpoint T1 or Z-Point styled scope.

Overall, this is a great holster for your MP7 and is a great deal too. I'd recommend it to anyone who owns an MP7.

"Interesting product to say the least… a gun as big as the mp7, in my opinion, needs a better retention system than a small rubber band and a plastic clamshell. It holds great when walking, but even after adjusting the screws, even a light jog could jostle the gun out of position. I would not trust this thing to hold my 400 dollars unless i was playing a walking game or taking pictures

"The rubber band that holds the gun in place on mine isn't tight enough to hold my MP7 in place while I move. Kinda the whole point. And I don't mean i start running and it comes loose. No just walking to the staging area and it's loose. Also the portion that "locks" to a belt doesn't lock. You have to have zip ties and zip tie the belt lock portion together. and to get more tightness out of the rubber band more zip ties are needed. The only reason i don't give it a 1 star is that it looks pretty cool with the gun in it. With all that said if you don't mind Jerry Rigging a holster then sure this is for you but save your money otherwise
