I upgraded to this from a cheaper NC star scope. I have to say it was defiantly worth it. I have yet to even play with it, and I am in love.
While not the biggest and easiest sight to see through, it is large enough in my opinion. It also does not look silly (IMO) like the larger red dot sights that are half the size of the guns you put them on.
The Dot is small. That is a good thing. My old dot used to be big, and that would cover up my targets at mid ranges. A small, bright dot is good as it is easy to find, and wont cover where your aiming.
The scope is almost all metal, and well built.
The lens covers have clear plastic in the middle, so they may be used in game, but it does reduce the area you can see. They are also snug on, but removable. They are also flip up, so you don't have to carry the lens or leave it somewhere.
It is day time as i type this, and i can use the scope on its lower setting and still see a dot. 6 and 7 are suitable for day time play IMO. The dot will stay on target as the eye moves (if you move your head and not the gun, the dot stays on the same object. Yes that is a good thing).
There is no airsofting today here. :(
As far as i can tell, even though a similar price red-dot may be better, this one has more style, and so far i have seen more glorified soup-cans than these on guns :P Should make your gun look a little unique without spending a lot of money, but still effectively increase your accuracy.
