"AIM 3-9x40 Scope today. It's an excellent value for the money, and that I got it on an Epic Bonus makes it a STEAL! The scope is a 3-9x40 and not a 42mm lens as Evike states in the listing. However, 2mm in this case isn't much to quibble about.
The package includes warranty information, cleaning cloth, spare battery, instruction manual, the scope AND mounting rings. It's nicely packed and presents a good way to start. The scope also has a yellow/clear bungie cover set.
I didn't mount it yet, but I took a bit of time to inspect it and see how the field of view is as well as to test the illumination. You get 5 levels of red and green as well as standard black crosshairs. The zoom adjustment is smooth and the eye relief is good. If the plastic caps are removed, the scope is clear through its zoom rang from 3 to 9. However, if you leave the caps on, powers greater than ~4 get blurry; I don't recommend using them.
Since I've not mounted the scope it's not possible to report on if the most important function of it is worth anything. I'd expect it to sight in like it should and hold its setting, this being only supported by the quality of the "total package".
I'll give it a 4/5 simply because I haven't put it into service and can't tell how "good" it really is. I'm betting on it being a great value, especially since I got it on the Epic Bonus :)
