this item is well made and very solid and ALL METAL . it does take a bit of a trick to put it on though since no instructions come with it , however it goes on the left side of the gun and you have to remove the pin in trigger guard to put this thing on. oh yeah and there are no holes to allow for the battery wires to come out, So drilling is very necessary . holds extra mags well . works great with [MNT_ICS_MA43] which holds batteries great
