it's a great add on to my Classic Army M249. I'm very glad to say that it's the best part to get for a M249 if you don't have a scope rail on yours.
Pros:
good solid feel
full metal
no modification needed to fit a Classic Army
easy installation
looks very cool
uses the stock iron sights
and the best part i think about it is that it comes with everything on it all you need to put it on is the iron sight and the original hardware from the original gun
Cons:
no instructions on how to install (but pretty straight forward and very easy)
Just got mines today. Awesome cover. It came wrapped in Bubble wrap, lol. I put it on my CA, now I need a Elcan. I have an ACOG but I prefer the ELCAN. Or maybe an EOtech.
Great rail cover! Just what I was looking for. Fits my A&K perfectly! Good buy if you want to add scope to your M249 or need a replacement Metal feed cover.
The cover I received had o marking on it what so ever which is exactly what I wanted since my A&K M249 had some ugly UK importers markings. It was also better quality that the A&K cover.
However... The design for the latch on the cover was different and now the spring and latches do not work properly to keep it closed. I have to give this a low score.
