Para-Trooper Retractable Stock for A&K Classic Army and G&P M249 series AEG

"I received the G&P PARA stock in the mail and was very impressed with its quality. I had to use some spacers to get it to fit snug on my SAW but its much sturdier and better constructed than the A&K and CA counterparts. I recommend this as an upgrade to and gunner looking to use their M249 for CQB.

"Ok so this thing does what its supposed to out of the box but it needs a few things to make sure it will last. First thing you need to do before you ever take it out is lock tite several parts of it. I recommend a stonger lock tite if possible. The allen screw that holds the rotating assembly to the plate where it attaches to the gun should be unscrewed and lock tited immediatly. If not done it tends to unscrew itself as you rotate the stock to collapse and extend the stock leading to it being very loose and wobbly when shouldering. I would also recommend carefully unscrewing the two rods that attach the stock to the back plate and applying lock tite to those as well as they will rotate on their own with use and strip out easily as the metal on them is very cheap pot metal so don't overtighten anything when putting it back. Mine was stripped out so bad I had to have a friend weld it for me. As long as you do this soon after buying it and are liberal with the lock tite it should last a long time.
