"Had one of these and you can actually use this on a trijicon style ACOG optic by removing the original ACOG mount. The cut out is nice since you can cross this over from receiver to handguard.

"Bought this years ago to fix rail wobble on a KWA SR10. The front rail wobbled about 1mm left and right and I was worried the problem was only going to get worse as I used the gun more. I might end up picking up another.

Outside of disassembling the front rail and reapplying super glue while tightening the rail to the upper receiver, there is no "real" fix to rail wobble. This item is a quick fix. I guess the only downside is that you are technically putting more strain on the rail on the upper receiver. If the upper receiver is all one piece and your gun is relatively light weight, probably not an issue. If your gun is long and you are banging the RIS into trees and such while sprinting, it might be.

All in all, inexpensive fix for an annoying and potentially severe problem. I would NOT use this on a polymer/plastic RIS or upper receiver though as over tightening could probably crack the polymer/plastic.

"I have this installed on two SPR builds. Does a splendid job of eliminating wobble between the aftermarket rail and the upper receiver. Pricey, but worth the investment to add rigidity to your rifle.

"Awesome riser! Like all risers makes it more comfortable on your neck because you're not leaning into the weapon system. Bought for my m4 s-system and my scar.

"This was pretty good for my brothers m4. It stopped all of the ras wobble and he said if he pulls the delta ring back it still doesnt wobble. You can put a red dot scope on top of it so that the dot goes over the front sight.
