"Okay, so this mag is really well built externally and feels sturdy, but I found an issue. As some of the other reviews mentioned, the bbs wouldn't feed and would get stuck. This happened to me about an hour before a game, so I was quite upset. A day later I realized something, if I lubricated the feeding wheel and the winding wheel it should all be slick and maybe the bb that gets stuck can pop out. I was correct, to avoid jams I suggest regularly lubricating this magazine. Aside from that, the only other problem I found is the lip on the back of the mag is a bit low for some aks, so have have to seriously jam it in (for example, LCT LCK-15 and JG AKS-74u EBB). Aside from those minor issues, this is a great mag that feeds very well, I owned one previously that came with an AK, and the only reason it didn't last longer than 3 years was because I dropped the whole AK stock first onto concrete with the mag still inside, causing the front lip to crack and eventually (3 years later) break.

Pros:
Great feeding
Sturdy Build
Cheap

Cons:
Regular upkeep
Doesn't fit easily into some AKs (still fits though)

Personally I think this should be 4 and a half stars for regular upkeep, but the jamming issue is so easy to solve, it doesn't seem worth 4 stars.

"I bought this along with a CYMA AK74 (cm040c). Out of the box, it doesn't fit. The top of the mag needs a bit of sanding/filing as the plastic sticks out too far and is larger than the mag well. But a few minutes with a file and sandpaper and it works. Fits nice and tight, no wobble (unlike the mag that came with the gun). I'll be grabbing another one with my next order.

"the fit was wicked loose (1/4" wobble in both directions when seated in the mag well), but with some thin plastic card, super glue, and a fine file, this mag fits even better than my gun's factory mag. I guess making it to fit more universally could create this issue in some models.

"i have one of these myself and it is truly great. but i see it runs out of stock very quickly. i have an ak-47 C.P.W. (recommend buying it) and it has a high ROF and needs more than one clip. but other than that it is a really great product

"For how picky Arcturus AKs are for mags, fits them very well. good feed but the winding wheel being too small can be disappointing in the heat of battle. Now I know how she feels..

"Quality control kind of bad. The one I got looked like the top of the mag is exploding out of its container. The bottom cap of the mag looks to be enlarged, compared to the CM028U mag I got.
Due to the enlarged bottom cap, the winding wheel is harder to access and harder to scroll fast because the cap is larger and flaring out- almost protecting the wheel from ever being touched.
Probably just my mag but compared to other reviews here mines seems to be bad.
Haven't used it yet but it seems to load fine though as of now.

"Great magazine for the money. Like all other Airsoft Ak-47 waffle mags I"ve seen on the market, this mag's shell is made out of plastic, although the plastic on this one is good quality and seems sturdy. The bottom black plate is made of metal. As with most mid-cap magazines, this mag takes some "breaking-in" in order to properly fit the 100 rounds it is supposed to (for those who aren't familiar with mid-caps, breaking in usually just involve loading and unloading several times before first use in order to break in the mag's spring). This mag feeds very smoothly and keeps up nicely with the rapid firing of my gun which is about 20 bb's per second. As for appearance of the mag, the black plate in contrast with the tan color of the body of the mag looks nice. The color of the body could be a little darker color in my opinion. Overall, it works great and has a decent look and feel to it for $12.00. 4.5 Stars out of 5

"I'm not sure how many this holds, but I'd say it's closer to 500, not 400. 600 is probably pushing it.

Overall, very nice. Unfortunately, I ordered two and one broke after two day event. Will no longer wind BB's up. The other one is still going strong.

No problems with BB's feeding into gun.

"This wont hold 500. it holds about 400. Still good but the wheel will sometime recede into the mag so it is hard to spin. This can be resolved by shaking. Still a great mag though

"Bought this mag with hopes it would work

Unfortunately, that was not the case. As soon as I opened it, loaded it and test fired with it it would not load the BBS into the firing mechanism.

The loading wheel was also so far receded into the mag you could not reach it.

"I have one of these and all I can say is that this can easily break. If you wind the magazine too much, the gears inside will break. The majority of the gears inside is made out of polymer so the durability of this isn't that good. If I were you, I would buy the Full Metal Flash Magazine. I bought it for almost $10 (it was on sale) but the original price was around $12.
