"Might as well leave a review on this gun that isn't a decade old. I honestly got this gun to see if I would like the ergonomics of the L85 or not and honestly yea I love it. I believe this gun feels very similar to an ICS L85 I held many years ago but this obviously is A LOT lighter because it's plastic. even tho it's way lighter the weight balance feels about the same I think and just feels comfortable. I also dremeled the magwell to fit standard aeg STANAG mags so I can try out tacicool reloads with this (no it DOES NOT FEED with standard aeg mags). All in all it feels pretty decent as a replica L85 and is fun to mess with sometimes. for me this was exactly what I was looking for and I love it.
As for a cheap springer..ehhhhh there's better options out there for a sub 50 dollar spring rifle. The biggest problem is the sights. the fake ACOG does turn on but it doesn't adjust at all and is practically useless. the front sight can be removed but when it's on its wobbly and is useless without a proper rear sight. The last 2 options are getting a replica SUSAT to fit the weird l85 rails or add your own custom 20mm rails and sight and neither are worth the effort for this gun. On the box however there is a version of this gun that exists that has the L85 carrying handle so hopefully Evike stocks that one sometime. the rest of the gun is pretty decent if I can find where it hits. it gets about 320 fps with .20s and despite not having an adjustable hopup it still hits pretty accurately at about 100 ft. its no sniper but it's way better than I thought.

PROs:
makes me want to buy a high quality L85 AEG
way lighter than an L85
pretty good L85A1 replica
surprisingly accurate
unlike the real L85 its actually almost easier to shoot this left handed
has the same authentic PROs and CONs as the real L85A1

CONs:
makes me want to buy an expensive L85 AEG
way lighter than an L85
sights are pretty useless
furniture isn't that durable
receiver isn't that durable
mag isn't that good
kinda annoying to cock this thing every shot with where the charging handle is
if you're shooting left handed and your hand slips you can smack your face lol

it may sound like this gun sucks but really it's no too bad for a cheap springer and its better than what I expected. Maybe get it if it's on sale but otherwise I like this gun for what it is

"Ryan's being a little harsh on this springer. Overall, I've had no problems with it. It's a good, solid gun. One pro about it is that the charging handle is a pretty solid piece, and long enough to get a good grip on.

A note for possibly buyers though, and new people to this gun in general, if you don't know it already;

* The front iron sight is not meant to be used with the dot sight attached, as it's only meant to be aligned with the rear iron optics.

* The dot sight sits pretty low on the frame, though I've tested it and it is fairly accurate with good BB's, while the stance it creates may not be too comfortable at first.

* As it's a bull pup, you'll have to get used to the weight distribution being predominantly to the rear.

* For this springer in particular, you'll have to unscrew the front sight on and off if you want to switch between iron optics and a scope, as there's no way to attach it to the receiver solidly otherwise.

These aren't issues though, just advisements.

"another vary low priced gun that a lot of people may or may not like but atleast you get a working acog replica and flashlight for only $40

"A very affordable replica of the L85. Come with a working flashlight and red dot scope. Shoots accurate and very far. Buy it if you want a nice L85 Airsoft rifle.

"Overall, the gun is a pretty solid build for a springer, little hard to cock but overall good. The mock ACOG scope lines up with the front iron sights. Shoots pretty decent and isn't terrible

"First off this gun is the definition of cheap it broke within three months of barely moderate usage. The bolt was glued to the gearbox so if the bond broke it was inrepairable. it honest sucked
