"I've had this gun since August '06, and it's been from Central Jersey to So-Cal, always coming out on top (due to operator and fine craftsmanship).

Great heavy, all metal gun. It has an excellent balance in weight and the contoured grips fit your hand ridiculously.

Kickback is great, but even better with some red gas, which I bought for it before the shipping laws and etc.

Clicks, clacks, and bangs. The only thing that isn't metal is the grip (and a lever inside). The only thing it could use are some trademarks.

But....at the end of 2007, the trigger spring broke, and the blowback chamber wasn't blowing back far enough to load bb's consistently...

Of course, this was all due to RED GAS 24/7, because I didn't have any Green left. So, only use red gas if you need some serious distance.

Fine tune that hop-up and .2 bb's will sail straight and surprisingly accurate.

Even after all of the crap that happened to my gun, the bb's start to drop after about 200ft. (With Red Gas)

Overall, the gun is more than worth it, just use Green Gas and pick up the extra mag (30 bucks is worth it) and you're all set.

"Really heavy and sturdy gun, full metal, the "tactical" grip would make the mag release jam a little but trimming it down a little will make it work just fine, the orange tip is permanent so just a heads up, so far have got to shot it but I do love it , only down fall, the slider doesn't sound that realistic but eh that's just me

"I've only had it a short time but it works well so far. I'm surprised there was no manual of any kind explaining how to load the magazine or fill the gas. Also there does not seem to be a way to drop the hammer safely. Doing it manually the hammer stops at half cock.

"After about a year purchasing this gun, it was pretty good on the other hand. It was durable, (I dropped it in sand and grass wetness and it still worked fine!) great addition to my load out, and it helped a lot. Over all it was a great performance.

Although, the trigger cord snapped or it was disconnected after about 1 year of purchasing this, I couldn't decide which it was of the cord of the trigger braking or not or it was disconnected. I don't know what happened with the gun itself when the process of it braking occurred.

BUT it still fires, you just have to move your thumb in the trigger up every time you shoot because it doesn't spring up automatically. But it was a easy fix of a replacement of disconnecting cord or braking it of 4 dollars or more. Or being fixed for a small pay.

I guess this was over all good at least.

"Not as good as i expected it to be. One fill of gas lasts 2 magazine. I tried shooting through a water bottle and it didnt go through. Its pretty accurate, i can easily shoot a target 50ft away. The plastic thing on top of the magazine broke a little after i used it once.

"This gun is awesome! Honestly if your looking for a gbb pistol then this is the gun for you. It feels durable and very realistic, and this special military addition one makes it better looking and probably the closest thing you'll get to a real gun. [4.5/5.0]

Pros:
-Full metal makes it very durable
-Feels very realistic(basically its a real gun!)
-Pretty good fps
-Accuracy isn't that bad for a gbb pistol
-The sounds the gun makes when you cock it is awesome(if you like that stuff)

Cons:
-Hop is in a inconvenient location, those easy to acess, just not on the game feild
-Mags are expsensive(Though Expected with airsoft, but still sucks)

"I purchased this pistol for Training at my Unit... to let some of the folks there get a feel for an M9.

The hop up says non adjustable on the evike description. Good News, The Hop up IS adjustable, you just have to remove the slide, and use the supplied hex key to change it.

Unfortunately, the BB's in my gun curve horribly to the right, and no amount of hop up adjusting will fix it. I just got it, and have not taken it apart completely. So maybe I can fix it.

But it is $60 cheaper than the KWA M9 and the mags are $10 cheaper as well. All guns break eventually. And by the time either of these do, you probably will want another pistol anyways, so save some coin, and buy this gun.

"Pros: The gun looks, feels, breaks down, and shoots great. It's a little bad on accuracy but that's just part of using gbb's. The rail can make finding compatible holster a little tricky. I'm left handed, and found you can disassemble and switch the side for the mag release, bingo. The thing is loud and intimidating.

Cons: It shoots hot. Browse youtube or google and you'll find this is the case. Mine chrono's at 360 fps with 0.20g for the first few shots with green gas, and settles around 340 fps. This won't be CQB legal at most places. I'm am going to buy some HFC 134a gas (weaker than green gas), it sould drop the FPS significantly so I can actually use it.

"This is a very clean GBB. I got mine and love it. For the price you can not beat it!!! PRO: looks and feels great, hits hard! CON: you have to remove the slide to adjust the hop up. (not a big deal though).

"I got this pistol for my birthday, which is July 4th, and I have liked it a lot. I have had a couple problems with it, but it sure is fun to play with it.

It came very nicely packaged in a nice, colorful box which is kind of nice. I assured me that it was protected on the way here. I pulled it out of the box and the first thing I noticed was how heavy it was, then came the cold feeling of the metal.

The gun is very balanced and works almost like the real thing. The blowback would be better with the upgraded recoil spring, but is decent for now. The saftey is ambidexterious and works fine with a nice red dot to let you know if it is on safe or not. The hammer works like the real thing, and sounds amazing. It has a half-cock feature, which I am not sure what it is for, and a fully cocked setting. When you pull the hammer back the trigger comes back with it, making the trigger pull shorter and easier. The grips are a plastic-feeling type and feel really good when you put the gun in your hand. It is really easy to field strip, just like the real gun. Overall, this gun is a blast even when you don't have any bb's or gas in it.

This gun is a little different on the preformance side. I have only gotten a chance to use CO2 which makes the gun preform very good. The blowback is quite strong and fun to play with. I can usually get 2-3 mags out of 1 CO2 cartrige.

I have only encountered a couple problems with this gun, however, one was quite significant. The first problem was the sights are white and get hard to see over time. I can only imagine how hard it would be to see them in a night game. This I can deal with though. The big problem i have had with it is the gas coming out of the barrel of the gun. It wouldnt stop coming out the front until it was all gone. I could get about 2-5 shots out of one cartrige of CO2 and then it would all leak out of the front. Even though it looked really cool, It was really annoying to loose all of my CO2 and to not be able to use it in skirmishes. Eventually, I decided to lube it up really good with a little silicone and it started working almost like new again. The moral of this story is, if you get this gun, make sure you buy silicone oil with it (go to youtube to search for some how to keep your pistol working vids). It will keep your gun working like new and you should have no problems. Even though it didn't work, I still could get a couple "Saftey Kills" with it because it looked really cool and was quite intimidating.

Anyways, I would suggest this gun to M9 lovers and anyone who just wants a pretty good gun.

Be sure to take care of your gun, and it will take care of you.

"I buy this gun about a month ago and I have to say its not that good as you might think.

-The positive:
1.Realistic looking gun
2.pretty heavy(in a good way)
3.good Fps(I have reached a 366 FPS with a super green gas max performance)

and thats about it.

-The negative:
1.The Fps figure is not constant(the lowest is 258 Fps)
2.The BB slide of the barrel(when cocked and ready to fire) I dont know why that happens some people say the hop up needs to be adjusted but I tried it but it still looks the same to me doesnt do anything u might said.
3.The paint scratch of quickly
4.The hop up dont really works(please help me if u know how to adjust the hop up properly because I did it and it sort of doesnt change anything.Send me a video if u can to [email protected] or to caronliner24 youtube.)
5.it shoot straight until 45-50 feet only and then the bb will drop(I dont know if thats bad or what since this is my first airsoft)
6.it wables. The mag is like to small and it causes the wable and also the barrel is quite smaller than the slide so yeah it wables and feels not that solid compared to the Kjw 1911 and others.
7.when I do a field strip sometimes the slide refuses to lock on the gun and I have to like do it many times until it locked back.
8.not really accurate.sometimes its just shoot up,or left/right direction.

and so far thats the negative of this gun.please help me about this gun and for the pro airsofter tell me the max range u could possibly get for this gun.Thank you.
