"Well I got this gun in May used it through the summer and the
winter up until Christmas. It was pretty good carrying all the utility pouches but it only had 3 mag places and 2 pistol mag spots. The tightenig straps come undone fairly easily. I have a backpack and it works on thightening the straps pretty well. Overall I'd go with MOLLE but this is a great beginners vest.

Pros
lightweight
lots of utility space
place for shotgun shells
place for radio

cons
not many mag pouches
hard to tighten
no molle
many unreachable pouches on the back especially with a backpack
does not fit a hydration carrier

OK VEST GREAT BEGINNERS VEST

"Just got this vest. Not terrible. Comforstable and easy to manuever in. On the front it holds 2 M16/M4 mags on the left and a large pocket on the right holds about 4, I use it to carry my pistol around in. You could put more mags or thigns on the back, but trying to reach around and grab stuff on your back is difficult. It is somewhat padded on the back, but not on the front. Its NOT meant for a ton of protection, but for carring alot of gear. If you are like me and carry alot, this is a great vest.

"Great vest. holds like 6-8 m4 mags 4 speed loaders in the middle 4 pockets(or small battery's). holds cell phone Grenades etc... slightly discolored (kinda blue) but great vest. and the neck piece is very comfortable and affective. BUT NOT WITH A HELMET ON. i would recommend this in any color that suits your needs. the shot gun holder sucks because you need to take off the vest to take it out or have someone do it for you. mainly other then that it amazing

i gave it a 4 because its kind of discolored

"I got this vest because I use an M14 with very few mags. This vest is perfect for that. The big pouch on the right and the one in the back each hold 2 M14 mags, and the loops on the radio pouch hold CO2 for my pistol. It is very hard to go prone, however, and the loops on the back are just a half-inch too small to be any good ( I can just barely fit a UTG shotgun in them, and it isn't very sturdy). The vest is very comfortable, however, and can be put on and taken off pretty quickly and easily. I'd say it's a good vest for the money. After all, you're only paying $40.

"I fit 2 in each of the left pockets and 4 in the right and one thats holds 2 on the back.

But now for the review.

I purchased this vest mainly because of the price and it was a step up from my chest rig that I had before.

The vest is comfy when standing or crouched, but prone is a pain because of the neck guard. It holds 2 magazines in each of the pockets on the left and I got 4 in the right one and 2 in the back. The pistol mag holders are helpful and easy to access. The back ones are kinda hard to get into unless you have someone with you. The vest also has an area to hold shells 8 to be exact. It is also easy to adjust, the straps that tighten it can dangle down though.

Pros--
Comfy
Easy to adjust
Easy to reach Mag Pouches
Neck guard

Cons--
Pain in the ass to go prone with
Neck Guard (As stated above)
Mag and other pouches in the back.

Overall this was a good buy and I'm extremely happy with it.
