"Just tested the head set and they work pretty well. However, I found that the headset can't play any sounds from the radio. All I can hear is static when someone is contacting me via radio but crystal clear with the surround sound. I'm not sure if mine is defective or not but I think investing in real ones are a better investment.

"I purchased this headset a few weeks ago, it arrived within a week along with a couple other items I ordered. When I first pulled this headset out of the box i was surprised at how good the quality is. Theyre lightweight, but seem to be very durable materials. Upon further inspections the headband seems to be a spring type stainless steel wrapped in a faux leather, under the leather wrap runs your wires for both the mic and the ear speakers. The mic was pretty flimsy and would move away from your mouth just by a turn of the head, I remedied this by taking the mic boom off, wraping the post with a wrap of tape and then pushing the boom back on, still moves but only if you move it with your hands. The wires all seem to be mounted very securely with no bare wire showing. The mic wire is run through the headband and then plugs into the back of the right ear speaker via a 2 prong plug. The wire from the headset to radio PTT is very beefy and thick, roughly 1-2' in length. This headset is also sound amplifing!!!! it requires 2 AA batteries in the left ear speaker, and located on the right side it has volume buttons to adjust speaker volume and exterior sound volume. This headset is adjustable via slide on the ear speakers and the headbands springy-ness

PROS:
High quality build
Sound amplifing
Adjustable volume
Lightweight
Adjustable
Works with ballcaps or helmets
Looks awsome

CONS:
Mic boom flimsy out of the box (fixed with tape)
Mic wires a little long (can be fixed with tape or ziptie)
Requires a PTT to use (can be purchased for extra $20)

Final notes--- I highly recommend this Ztactical product to anyone looking to have better coms and take their game even further...

"I bought this headset and it fits really good with the MICH 2001 style helmet. Only thing i dont like about the type B headset is that, like in the picture, you have wires flying everywhere and they get in the way sometimes. Secondly, this is not a matrix product, this is a Z Tactical product. The one thing that really bothered me about the packaging is that the instructions are all in ENGRISH, not english. On the front of the box is says "Professional hearing we focus." What ever that means. So basically the manual is in really bad english too. But anyways besides that the audio is crystal clear, and the mike works perfectly too, able to pick up the smallest whisper.
