"I bought this to replace the stock pin on the Umarex/Elite Force MP5a4/a5. The stock pin in that gun was a flimsy piece of garbage; the wire that kept the pin held in place was too thin and malleable, and simply waving the gun around the wrong way could cause it to fall out.
Not only did this replacement pin not have that problem, but the general build quality is what you'd expect for a 12 dollar part. It holds the handguards I've used in place very well, and feels nice and resistant getting pushed in or out of the pin slot. Due to its decent material quality, I can't see it wearing down enough to start falling out on its own any time soon.
It's a straight upgrade to the pin that came with my MP5, so If you have any similar problems with your stock pin, this replacement is definitely worth considering.
