"not the sturdiest thing in the world, but a great quick change v3.
for those wondering, this actually is an 8mm gearbox. the holes are a little tight due to the coating, but i was able to fit prommy 8mm ball bearings.
for the spring guide i just used a lancer tactical steel quick change spring guide and it fit fine with a little bit of wiggling.
there's some parts that are of questionable integrity. the metal itself is not terribly strong; very soft aluminum. comes with screws.
in all, decent v3 quick change, probably one of the only ones you can find aftermarket. price is reasonable.

"The package does not include a spring guide.
The gearbox is pretty neat. Has a smooth matte finish. Most of the bushings I used did pop off with little force so using some glue or retaining compound is recommended . My she'll didn't have the cut off lever screw hole threaded, but most of those screws are self tapping anyway.
All the non bearing QD spring guides I had fit perfectly with no modification. If you don't have a rotary tool you could just use bearings on your piston head rather than on the spring guide.
The QD spring guides with bearings however did not fit through the QD hole. The hole needed to have material removed with a rotary tool in order to get ball bearing QD spring guides to work.
4/5 as modification is required for QD ball bearing spring guides.

"Honestly, I wasn't expecting much when I bought it and I was pleasantly surprised with it. Small modifications were necessary to put it in a cyma body, such as filing off the hook at the back of the gearbox but other than that it was fine. The cylinder head posts are too big also, so those take some effort to fit the compression system in. It takes v2 quick change springs perfectly fine
