"Great magazines for the price. Fit G&G combat machine as well as Bolt no problems whatsoever. Hands down best midcaps Ive ever bought.

"So I bought 7 of these mags a few months ago as extra magazines and also to replace the crappy ones that I initially received with my first gun, and I was a little worried about the black "lip" that they have on the top of the magazine where the bullets would go in IRL. Thankfully, I have had no trouble with getting these magazines in/out of my rifle, and I didn't have to do any modifications on the magazines or the rifle itself. (I have a full-metal DBOYS M4 AEG from a different website.)
I tested out the capacity on one of the mags by loading it and unloading it 3 times in a row, and the results were that it held 123 the first time, 116 the second, and 101 the third time. I've heard that it's not good to fully load your magazines or keep them full for extended periods of time as it can damage the spring and I really hope that wasn't what was going on with the decreasing numbers...
Anyway, after that I loaded the other 6 magazines up once each and they held 91, 101, 115, 114, 94, and 112 rounds each. That averages out to a little under 110 bbs per magazine, which I think is more than enough considering the real thing only holds 30 5.56 NATO/.223 rounds, even though these airsoft versions are advertised to hold 120bbs.
Another 'test' that I performed on these was to find out if it had a realistic weight. I didn't actually have a scale on hand when I performed the test, so I just estimated by how they felt in my hands. I took a real AR-15 magazine as well as one of these airsoft magazines and proceeded to load/unload them for each part. I found that when both magazines were unloaded the airsoft mag felt a little bit heavier, but when they were both loaded the airsoft one was a little bit lighter. Go figure.
I initially bought these magazines because they are metal and gray in color like the real steel ones, instead of a matte black like most airsoft m4/m16 mags are. However, these mags do have a black "lip" like I stated earlier, but that doesn't really matter because they're going to be inside your gun or your pouches anyway. The paint scratches and rubs off on other metal surfaces like your mag well after extended use, but I think that just gives them character and adds to the realism anyway.
They have a rough texture to them which surprised me a little when I first got the mags. I really had to stuff them into my mag pouch to get 2 of them to fit in each pocket and yank on them while working the magazine side-to-side in the pockets to get them out at first, (I have the Triple M4 / G36 MOLLE Ready Magazine Pouch by Condor / Phantom - Tan pouch from this site by the way), but after leaving them in the pouch for a week or two and periodically working them out of the pouch and putting them back in at different angles to stretch it out, they fit alright now. The problem was probably caused by a combination of the texture of the magazines that made them sort of grip each other, the lips on the mags stretching the pouch more, and the already tight pockets of the pouch.
I've dropped these things a few times and they took it like a champ, they barely wobble at all in the mag well to a point where it doesn't even matter, and they all feed efficiently too.

Durable METAL
Extremely minimal wobble
Feeds well
Mostly realistic appearance and weight
Sufficient capacity
Excellent performance for the price
Paint rubs/scratches (can be a con)

Paint rubs/scratches (can be a pro)

Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to make sure that I put down every detail that I could think of. All in all, if you're looking for a good quality magazine that's not going to break the bank, this is the one to buy.

"very satisfied with the quality and capacity of this magazine. works well in a A&K Masada, and a JG sr16 with a matrix metal body.

"Very good magazines for a great price. I got 4 of these on one of the daily deals for $5 each. It was a steal and they actually fit better than the mag my G&P came with! No wobble at all!

I must say though that there is absolutely no way these hold 120 rounds. I got around 60 in and it felt like I was really pushing it. Over all though they feel real nice and are made of a decent metal. I would recommend getting a few of these at least!

Cheap while keeping quality
No wobble

Cons: (well not really)
Hold less ammo than advertised
by Mitchell R. on 08/26/2013
"I have to say, for $7 each on the daily deals page; they aren't bad!! Built really well, and are full metal like in the description. Just a bit disappointing to find out that they only hold 90rds instead of 120rds. I purchased 6 of them and all of them preform perfect once I made a modification to each of the mags. Supposidadly they were made for G&G M4/M16 guns but when I got them in they didn't fit. I was like NOOOO!!! This cant be!!! The only modification made to make them work was to remove some of the top part of the latching groove on the mag (about only 1.5mm). They fit and feed perfectly once this modification is made. Overall pretty satisfied with these mags! I mean for only $7, why complain? (my gun shoots about 15rps and goes threw these mags really fast! Like 6 seconds!! So with my 6 extra mags only about 36 sec. of full auto)

High quality
Fits my G&G M4 Combat Machine gun (with slight modification)

Only 90rds
had to be modified slightly to fit what they said it would fit
Sometimes is hard to load with a speed loader

"These mags are great!

Feeds Perfectly

I use these with my ICS L85 and they work great! Just break them in a little with silicon oil and what not and they will feed perfectly!

"These magazines are GREAT! A high quality metal mid-cap magazine for only 10 dollars. I bought 5 of these! They have a very wobble-free tight fit. However, it was hard for the magazine catch of all my guns to click on to these mags. Using a screwdriver, i slightly bent up the "lip" (the place where the magazine catch clicks onto the gun i guess) on all the mags with a screw driver, and that seemed to make it easier for the guns to catch the magazines. I haven't tested extensively the magazines, but I haven't had any feeding issues yet.

Good metal quality
perfect fit

doesn't catch easily

"These work great in my ICS L85. Just lube them and their ready to go! They are durable metal, I've dropped them, stepped on them and they have been shot and they still work great!

"I was looking for a midcap, any midcap that would work in my G&G proline. I have tried a few brands that will remain nameless and decided to purchase one of these to see if it would work. Finally, these worked! These fit and feed perfectly in my G&G and also in my ICS. No mag wobble at all. Feeds all but the last bb or so(typical). Full metal construction but not heavy, def not as heavy as a highcap(unfilled vs unfilled) but not as light as my plastic mids(obviously). I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for midcaps and at $10 each, they are a steal.

-Durable metal construction
-As claimed "precision feeding"
-Cheap pricing

Side note:
- Fits tight in KWA M4 mag well.
- Paint is rather thin, however it took me sand paper to really wear it down.

Overall, very nice mag, will buy again if the PMAGs don't meet my standards/expectations. :P

"Bought 5 and I'm probably going to buy more. They work perfectly in both Bolt and G & G Combat Machines. They hold just about 120 rounds. No jamming issues. The seams on the aluminum are sloppy on the sides, and be careful you dont slice your finger on one. Thats a pro tip you can take to the bank.
by James G. on 08/05/2016
"I bought 5 of these about a year ago, and they're just about what you would expect from an 11 dollar mag.

Metal (very tacticool)
Minimal wobble, depending on rifle

Can't take drops well
Jams (a lot)

If you can put up with it jamming about once or twice in a full day of playing, this is a great buy.
by Douglas H. on 10/07/2014
"Bought two of them, dont feed right but unless u shave some plastic from the latch, if your willing too it feeds fast and nice when you put a little work into it, great mag for price and a little elbow grease.

Metal body
Allen key to get to the internals
Feeds FAST

No mod will jam at the latch
Cheap plastic internal, but its 11 dollars

"Because we all know Matrix is mostly rebranded products, I didnt have expectations on the brand. They turn out to be "Asia Electric Guns" brand, which make the FNH P90. The magazine quality is pretty good, although they scratch very easily. After being broken in, these magazines work perfectly, but may require some extra care due to fragile internals compared to more reputable brands. If you're looking for low cost, reliable midcaps that actually hold 100rds, check out G&P's midcaps, as I have personal experience with them, and they work well.

As other reviews say, these are NOT 120rd, which was disappointing. These are actually 68rd standard magazines.
by Trevor J. on 02/10/2013
"Im glad i got these mags, although they sent me the wrong ones. They sent the 68 round metal lowcaps instead of the 120 round midcaps. other than that they are really nice. After you break them in they only leave one or two rounds left. if you have a dboys m4, you will have to use a dremel or something and chisel the upper feed lip a bit to make them fit properly. other than that, i love them.
