"Do not read the guy below me because he said that he had it for two months this gun was only on the website for five days when he wrote the review so he is lieing. don't be stupid and put propane in your gun it will break. the gun has a high ROF ~20bbs and shoots hard ~390-410 fps.

pros

"this thing feels and looks amazing. i am not at all regretting spending 215 on this. and its so loud. the dogs around my neighborhood started freaking out. At 100 feet its pretty accurate, and you can still feel it, though it doesnt hurt that bad, but still its only about a foot long. SO overall if you want an awesome gbb, by this, you will absolutely not regret it

"This thing is off the hook. 325 fps, 20 bbps for only 215. Kwa is known for its awesomeness, durability, and gas consumption, and this gun does not disappoint me. The sound is close to a 22. pistol, and it will scare the crap out of anyone thinking of poking their nose around the corner. Also if youre not on a tight budget get the KSC Mp-9 magazine, because they work with it, and you will go through this mag in about 2 seconds. This thing gets a 6/5 hands down no questions.

"Absolutely fantastic gun

This is my first airsoft gun in a long long time (oh the advantages of being an adult with money) and my first airsoft gun I'd consider to be competitive on the field. It performs wonderfully. It has a good fps, at around 380 with .2 bbs. It has a nice fire rate, an easy to adjust hop up, a very nice weight and ergonomics, and has an overall great performance. It's construction is very reliable and it is very simple to take apart. The magazines have been very reliable (make sure to keep a bit of gas in the mag to keep the seals closed and the valves lubed up).

I've had 1 issue with the gun, it shipped with a defective part, breaking it on the first day, but I got on the phone with KWA customer service and they serviced my gun for free and haven't had a problem with it since. Any other cons you are going to get with this gun apply to all green gas guns so they are not worth going over, watch a youtube video on what you're getting yourself into when it comes to gbb, and determine if it is worth it for yourself.

Overall, great fps, great ergonomics, great fire rate, great overall feel to the gun, satisfying to shoot.

"Bought this gun in March. KWA is known for their extremely reliable NS2 gas system, so expect to have incredible gas efficiency. The gun is quite loud for some reason, probably due to the shorter barrel and higher FPS. This gun shoots quite hot, so it’s not the best choice unless you pop in a CQB bolt. The MP9 is a very fun airsoft gun to shoot because, who doesn’t love full auto? It’s fairly accurate out to 75ft using Propane and .25g bb’s. I did run into an issue later on. My magazine had some damage on the top corner near the gas seal. It looks like it was dropped. Keep in mind I have never dropped the magazine. The gun still fed and locked the bolt, but then the bolt catch stopped working, even if it was engaged manually. I’m positive the metal where the bolt catch locks into on the bolt is already worn down. It kinda sucks because I’m a sucker for realism, but it still functions.

Pros:
NS2 gas system
Accurate
Fairly lightweight
High capacity magazine
Compact
Plenty of Pic rails
High FPS

Cons:
High FPS (for CQB)
Bolt catch issue (minor inconvenience)
Foregrip compatibility issues (bought Magpul short grip and stock would not lock into place)
Very low iron sights
Some jamming issues (had bb’s get lodged behind the bolt and was a pain to remove)

Final Verdict:
This is an excellent airsoft gun for small-medium airsoft field, and could be an excellent CQB gun with a low power bolt swapped in. Many mods can be done to the gun, including the mock suppressor extension, which would turn the MP9 into a sniper from long range. 4/5 stars

"Well I've had this gun for a while now. I wanted to have it long enough to learn it strengths and weaknesses and here it is. You pay for the quality.

Pros-
Fire rate
Gas efficiency (retry good for the rate of fire)
Accuracy great for size
No wobble in the gun accept maybe the stock but only a tiny bit
Mags fit super tight maybe I con for some
Decent weight for an air soft smg
Has attachment space

Cons-
Selector switch there is no defined click when in full or semi
Rate of fire be prepared to buy more mags for this thing
Hard to take apart If your not familiar with the platform

"If you want a stupid fast, loud, accurate and just plain awesome machine pistol/smg this gun is made for you!! I was going to buy a Mac 11 but that didn't turn out so well, so I was searching for a good machine pistol/smg. I will say that the gun isn't cheep, but no KWA is. The mag are in my opinion a little over priced. fifty dollars for a mag is a bit much, though it is a well made mags and 48 rounds isn't bad.
One of the cons are that the first gun I received was bad, it blew a seal in the gun after about five mags. Con 2 was that the mag that came with the gun didn't like to go to slide lock when empty. Evike was go about replacing it and the new one has had no problems so far. I must have gotten a bad first one for the new one has not disappointed. The MP9 is a fun gun to tactical out put a front handle, red dot sight and a single point sling on mine and it looks pretty bad! One last thing, you can take the flip stock off and make a real mean pistol out of it! That's all for this gun.

"9/10 for me. The gun out of the box with shoot consistently 390 fps. The KMP9 also shoots 19-24 RPS. I have yet to hear a gun louder than my KMP 9.
This gun is great, evike is also the best place to buy airsoft and etc. But I was drawn to making this review because i was sold a kmp9 with an old main seal. When i drove 2 hours back out to a similar area of evike, i self delivered my kmp9 to KWA. The knowledgeable and professional employee explain to be that evike gave me a product that was sitting in storage for too long. Also not to mention this gun is dry out of the box, the main seal broke after a week of light use. KWA KMP9 is being repaired free of charge, as all kwa products come with a handy warrenty. I will assume this issue is rare and should obviously be advised when selecting any modle and how old it actually is.

"I bought the KWA MP9 with one goal in mind: Run a high-speed loadout with minimal gear so as to literally outrun the enemy and show the uppity Milsim guys that a $300 loadout can keep up just fine with a $1500 loadout. I hate to admit it, but that is not a very Operator thing to do. On to the gun. In the few months I have had it, this gun has done what I hoped it would and more. If you are looking for a great SMG, look no further. The MP7 is a great alternative, but its body is neither graceful nor lightweight. The MP9 feels like an extension of the body, everything is fluid, there are no sharp edges, and it weighs less than my USP tactical. If the hop-up is just right, you will have no trouble reaching out to AEG range. Be warned, however, that the mags are expensive and when you run dry of BB's, not even the speed loader can save you unless you packed the awkwardly-shaped can of Green gas or Propane. As any air softer would say- Why not buy more mags? If you want to carry even a mediocre number of ready mags for your MP9, you will spend the gun's price on the glorified paperweights. You have been warned.

Pros:
Super loud, I have gotten many, many comments, good and bad, on the noise.
Very lightweight, easy to acquire targets and move the weapon quickly.
Balanced, due to magazine being placed in grip.
Due to short barrel, I don't have to worry about muzzle-sweeping my friendlies.
Unbelievably reliable.

Cons:
Due to loudness, my position is pinpointed easily.
Feels like a toy without mag.
Accuracy is, as one would expect, not the greatest.
Mags are expensive.
O-ring in bottom of magazine will fall out. Bware.

Overall, 8.5 out of 10 due to mags and somewhat cheap feeling. I would recommend to someone just beginning to use a GBB weapon as a primary. I am only replacing it due to a shifting play style (with a VFC 416) and a need for more accuracy and firepower. Buy it for plinking or a fun secondary if you feel handguns are too mainstream.

"Pretty good gun. Kept it for 4 months before i got rid of it because i got bored but it was a nice gun while i had it. Never jammed or has any issues while i owned it. Fairly accurate for its size. Very light and point able. Fast ROF and FPS with a loud report.
Pros: Light, high ROF, small, loud, and reliable.
Cons: FPS to high for cqb, pain to disassemble, mags are expensive, and not easy to clean.

"This gun is fantastic!!!! The weight is very nice and the fps is perfect for cqb and outdoor play. It is also loud which may or may not be a con for some people. One of my favorite features is the cycle rate of the fulll auto!!

"I bought this in April 2012, and at first I wasn't able to get all of the BB's out in one gas load, but then I realized I wasn't putting the gas in upside down, and when I did it worked better. I was able to get about 2 mags worth of BB's out in 1 about 8-10 second gas load. It's got an INSANE rate of fire, and is accurate for about 50 feet.

Pros:
Intimidatingly loud
Great rate of fire
Maneuverable & Compact
Not too gas guzzling

Cons:
Stinks (but that's the propane's fault)
Too loud for concealment

"This is a pretty bad ass sub machine gun!

Pros:
LOUD
Decent accuracy
Shoots pretty fast for a gas gun
Mag is really gas efficient
Good range
Some what easy to take apart and maintain

Cons:
When I shoot full auto the bb's go everywhere and not very far but this gun rocks on semi
Hop up is not that easy to adjust

And thats all. All in all 4 stars out of 5

"Great product. Go kwa

Pros
High fps
High rof
Small
Durable

Cons
Faulty disconnector (stretch it out to fix)
Low mag cap
Expensive mags
Mags break if you let the follower go and the mag is empty
by Raeden G. on 06/09/2011
"This gun is AWESOME. Very loud, very light, very powerful, HIGH r.o.f. The body is very strong. The stock has almost no wobble. Just dont try and use propane with it. The mags wouldnt fill when i was trying propane, and they worked like a charm after using green gas. The mags are made of a soft metal though, or they are just too heavy for the material. But i dropped one onto concrete from about 1 foot, and dented like it was cheese. Its what it looks like now. If you like the look, and compactness, you love it more once you get it for the power. Ive had it since Sept, 23, 2010.
