"I gotta start off with I am not a tech & this was my 1st venture into learning how to work on AEGs. using you tube & diagrams to workout the problems.
I ordered two of these with the worst expectation being I could get one working using parts from both & have spare parts. I got two of the same model color & everything.
The 1st had the retention plate in the buffer tube broken was all that was wrong so about 5 min fix & functioned perfectly fired about 360fps.
Now the 2nd on the other hand was a bit of a pain, at first glance the defect was that the bolt catch that held it open to adjust the hopup was broken off & wouldn't effect the function of the rifle but after 5 shots with ever lower fps it stopped working. After opening it up I found telling marks (screw-heads, scratches, ect.) on the outside of the gearbox that it had been worked on before, the inside was worse the spring to reset the piston nozzle was missing & had only about half the gear washers(think those are called shims) & more then likely some other things I missed that were causing the gears/piston to start but not finish a new cycle after every shot on semi until the the piston locked up. I had some odds & ends to replace what was missing (like a pen spring) & worked on the gears to make it short stroke now it fires around 290fps so it would be good for indoor cqb games.

I couldn't find the model I got on the APS products page here but the closest full metal APS RIS systems run about $160+ I got a great field-gun & good cqb for the price of one gun.

I would highly recommend trying out these bone yard deals if your looking to learn how to fix/maintain your guns, get good parts on the cheap(the full metal body alone could run you the $80), or just like to tinker in your spare time. the only thing I would like to see is a little note with each that says whats was wrong with it.
My first time trying tech work, I got a better understanding of how it works, am more confident if I need to make field repairs, got 2 for 1 pricing so I love the results.
