"I have had my Original KWC Desert Eagle for years. And about a year ago the nozzle broke. Having no after market parts available, she was forced to be put back in the box and stored away. Any replacement parts available for these guns are extremely rat and if found are always from the European area and are always ripoffs and scams. However, this boneyard item is the exact opposite. There is a very simple design flaw in the gun which does not allow the slide to come back once the gun is disassembled. I lever blocks the slide from moving. All that is needed is a big t of patience and a small Allan key to push it forward underneath the slide. Other than that it was a perfectly working gun!!! I am very surprised Evike didn't just take the 4 minutes it took to reassemble it and sell it as an open box item for 100! It was the Newer version Desert Eagle so the air nozzle and other parts were reinforced, along with the trades, materials, and marketing my being a bit different. Other than that it is amazing!!!

"Purchased this one in the walk-in store from Evike's very friendly staff. The one I received is the Cybergun / KWC GBB plastic body version.

Externally the gun had a few scratches on the slide, and some metal worn on a small corner of the magazine. I also got the original box and a cleaning rod.

Initially it would blow back the slide, but would not fire BBs. An internal check showed a broken nozzle tip (similar to the KWA NS1 nozzle except made from plastic). This nozzle would normally be pushed back by a BB slightly so gas could enter the chamber,.

This was an easy fix: just rigged the nozzle so it would always be held back with a spring, and now the gun fires perfectly with consistent shots after 100 rounds shot through.

I just saved 2/3 the cost of the new one. Thanks again Evike.
