"I picked one of these up a couple weeks ago and i must say i am impressed, the steel for the body is very good, the scope and bipod are solid and overall it is a very realistic gun. But if you are truly an airsoft sniper you know that modifying is our biggest off site hobby...that being said this rifle is a pain to modify. it is a fully aps2 internal gun. meaning the cylinder is very hard to replace. this is very bad because the stock cylinder is a pressed together setup rather than pinned so if you go above an m150 spring you might rip the bolt off. the main reason it is a pain to modify however...is the muzzle....that giant orange piece of plastic comes from the factory epoxy glued on...you will be forced to break it off...thats not all....the end of the metal outer barrel that holds the end of the inner barrel is also epoxied on, and epoxied to the end of the inner barrel.....the only way i could get it off (i tried chemicals...and even a blow torch) was to cut part of the outer and inner barrel off with it, if you are careful there will still be enough there to put a muzzle break on but why was it covered in epoxy in the first place?!?!?!?!?!?! was snow wolf trying to make it non upgradable!? anyway you can get it off with some careful dremel work. another issue i ran into was the hopup bucking, it was to soft for the power of the rifle and after about 100 shots it tore apart, i didn't know it tore so i ended up also breaking the hop up arm....being aps2 its gonna be fun trying to find a hopup that fits. a rifle like this is to be bought for the body and for the internals to be replaced. as i have been an avid airsoft sniper for many years i will say this has been quite the project gun and very intimidating on the battlefield. Bottom line its a superb rifle, but if you wish to upgrade it (like all sniper rifles should be) be prepared for quite a project, if you love working and tinkering on your rifle its perfect

"I've had mine for around 6 years'ish it was one of the first run. I like the heavy build but I feel it needs an upgrade , the problem is my aeg can shoot further , at 10 feet it can perce a soda can but only sometimes. mine did not come with a scope but I have a nice one. my hop up is vertaly nonexistent. i'm a bit scared of the upgrade process after looking at the review. about that huge orange tip I found after some sanding a good cote of black paint was fine. don't get me wrong its realy fun to use just know without an upgrade many mid price range guns have more reach. mine has lasted a good long wile and I still use it. the only real problem ive had was the magazine has that long peg in the top and it broke off , I sugest getting an extra mag. my suggestion to snow wolf is to make it with at least 400 fps or make the upgrading easer. so to say I have mixed feelings its fun if your a sneaky sniper with a guily suit , its fine as is but otherwise you need to upgrade. it is the sniper I use as a loner because despite its shortcomings I'm not afraid of it breaking. so finaly great heavy sturdy build needs a stronger spring I may get the upgrde and see how it goes\.

"Bought this gun a few years ago. It has some serious good looks and feels great. Super heavy. The one i got couldn't shoot very straight so i decided to upgrade it. If you want to upgrade a sniper and use it on the field DO NOT GET THIS ONE. The whole barrel assembly is epoxy'd together and the only way to upgrade the gun is to disassemble that barrel assembly. Also many of the after market hop ups designed for these internals don't fit. I had to essentially rebuild the entire gun, machining the parts myself. After a year of use the bolt handle snapped off. M170 was too much for it.
