"As I write this review, I have had this gun for less than a week. Also, the gun is currently on sale for $85. Honestly you could not beat that deal with a stick. You're definitely getting your money's worth here and then some. I've been playing airsoft for almost 10 years and it really is true what they say about CYMA AK's. Tried and true. I have yet to actually field it but out of the box this thing surprised me with its accuracy and comfort. I fully intend on upgrading it to suit my needs, but if you're a beginner looking for your first gun, this just seems like the best bet. One of the cheapest guns on the market with a full metal gearbox.

Pros:
Light weight
Compact
Generally accurate out of the box
Lots of battery space

Cons:
Mag wobble may cause misfire (only with full size AK mags, if you use the one that comes with it, it works fine)
Trigger response (7.4's are a little whiny, 11.1's make it sound and feel much better however they risk damaging internals)
Plastic exterior seems easy to damage
Hop up can be finicky when adjusting

"This gun was hitting hard out of the box. The sound of the gun was really satisfying when it fires. But I later ran into problems.

Pros- Lipo Ready, Free Battery, Good FPS, Great Range, Awesome performance, Good Hi-cap mag.

Cons- Bad Battery, Feeding Problems.

"I've had this gun for over a year and have been fairly pleased with it. I had no problems that I didn't cause. I accidentally stripped the threads when trying to remove the flash hider and broke the hop-up when trying to install a new barrel. But other than that, the gun performed well enough.

Pros:
Decent rpm
Decent fps
Good range for a CQC gun

Cons:
Hop up is crap
Really annoying to customize (like extending the barrel)

Overall, its a good starter gun

"i have had this gun for a little over 6 months and it still is working fine. I recommend this gun to anybody and everybody that is looking for a cheapish gun that wont stop working. I would recommend also getting a 9.6v battery because the 8.4v that it comes with does not give the gun its best ROF. I bought mine at a local store because i didnt want to wait for shipping for $150 on sale!!!!! get this gun if you are looking for an ak and dont have money for like a $200 gun.

pros-
mine is metal and rubberized along furnishings.
good ROF and FPS out of box.
looks good and sleek.
great for CQB and outdoor play.

cons-
dust cover hinge thing broke on me(but nothing that noticeable).
kindof crappy battery.
cheap sling.

"I consider this to be one of the cheapest guns I own (considering the +$300 guns in my collection) and it seems that I keep coming back to it time and time again on the field. I bought this as a backup/loaner gun and it has been the most rock solid shooter I've ever owned. Some of the things to consider when looking at this gun, especially if you're a recreational player and not so big on milsim are as follows.

- Light weight
- Feeds every magazine I put in it. This includes G&G Midcaps, Echo 1 Hi-Caps, JG hi-Caps, Lonex Flashmags and JG shorty hi-caps.
- Great consistency (accuracy) considering barrel length.
- Full length stock for us tall guys with long arms.
- AK Hi-Caps hold a lot of BBs

On a personal note mine runs very smoothly with an 11.1V Lipoly Battery. Only doe this if your gearbox has been properly tuned.

On the downside, the body is plastic so be nice to it.

"This is the best AEG I own!!! I just got it today for Christmas and have already put 1000-1500 rounds through it. Its accurate to 100+ft. Warning: The 600rd Hi-Cap mag is easily over wound (I accidentily did that and now It dosen't work). Other than that, add the 250rd mag (full) and you have (along with the battery being fully charged) a rifle that can cause some serious damage to soft targets and hard targets. I shredded a beer can (full), a box, and 3 cds with it about an average of 30ft.

"Evan-

Mine reliably shoots 340fps. No the main body of the gun isn't metal, but it is very solid, there isn't a lot of empty space inside, so it seems like it would be very resistant to breaking if dropped. But look at it this way, with the money you saved by not buying a full-metal CA, you can easily afford a $50 metal body upgrade and still come out ahead with some money to spend on upgrades, clips, whatever. Hope this helps.

"For the money, this is a great deal. Feels very solid, not plasticky, all the right bits are metal. Nice and compact. The gun shoots hard right out of the box and is very loud (could be plus or minus). Accuracy is decent, plenty accurate for the average airsoft skirmish. There are a few quirky bits such as the buttplate, iron sights, and the top portion of the receiver that could use improving, but nothing horrible. Packaging and accessories that come with it are cheap and sparse, but that's why you get it so cheap. To clear up any confusion, this gun is shipped with one (1) 250 round high cap shorty magazine. Overall, I'm glad i bought it and I'm sure it will last.

"With .20g BBs I was clocking 280 FPS, I’ll see if my chronograph wasn’t calibrated right beforehand. The flash hider is a pain to remove, and is pinned and clued in place. The weight is alright, and there are certainly pros to the parts, but the gun is very front heavy due to the plastic stock. Unsure of how I feel about the fuse in the wiring, it looks generic and I haven’t given it hard use to test how well it holds.
