"I ordered this last July so I've had this gun now for 6 months give or take a week. I've used it in off and on skirmishing. I've only put about 10k through it but it has held up extremely well with very little wear on the internals. I play rough and I have dropped it and banged it and scuffed it but it will not stop shooting. It's built like a tank but feels like a feather. It's crazy light. I'm not particularly strong but I tote this thing around the battlefield without a sling no problem for hours at a time. Rate of fire and power out of the box are excellent with the 9.6v 5000 mAh battery I'm using. It holds up very well to upgrades. I haven't touched the exterior but on the inside I have: Maple Leaf 75 bucking, Maple Leaf RTX nub, Madbull 6.03 509 mm barrel, G&P Devil Jet motor, Matrix M130 spring, JG piston and head (stripped the stock piston accidentally). Everything else is stock. It's shooting 370 fps with Goldenball .36s at 25 rps. The fear factor is off the scales. It's easily as good as my friends P* G&P M4 and on the whole cost a lot less. Best deal on the market imo, buy this gun

Pros:
Light
Durable
Good rof and fps and accuracy out of the box
Great DMR platform
Looks and feels fantastic
Good price for the great quality
Comes with a metal flash hider!
Rof will scare the crap out of noobs
Sounds nice
Incredibly crisp trigger response with a powerful battery

Cons:
None that I can think of

Pros:
Accurate
good ROF

good internals
Cons:
none, really.

"Let me just start with, WOW!
Bought this gun thinking just another M16 , was I wrong! this gun out preforms its self . I have owned mine for close to a year , and never had a problem with it.

This weapon of mass destruction can touch targets at a ranges of 150' with precision accuracy, A must have for any and all DMR soldiers . When operating with my team I work with the snipers , and in most cases out preform there long guns .

I am never disappointed with the operation of this machine, and will get another soon for my Girlfriend.

This is worth every penny .

"This gun is AMAZING! This gun is the first G&P I have owned. I have to say that I am very impressed. My gun shoots about 420-450fps and has a rof of 23bps. It shoots a bit fast for a lot of fields but it can be downgraded. Although the fps allows the gun to be a dmr. Just install some rails (I got the Madbull Omega rails. They are rock solid on this gun),a bipod, and a scope and your good to go. This gun is extremely accurate. Sniped someone from 200yds. My only issue is that the stock is hard to open. I have to use a screw driver to open it, but I do have big fingers. Anyways, this gun is defiantly worth the money. I think this is a great deal. This gun in my opinion is better than my kwa m4.

Pros:
REALLY ACCURATE
great rof
fits a 9.6v large
looks and feels high quality
reliable

Cons:
fps is kind of high (could aslo be a pro)
stock is hard to open

"I recieved this gun for christmas, and it is easily the best i have ever owed. The rof is unbelievable, and has great range. For this price, it is deffinatley a must buy.

"This rifle is the best rifle I've ever owned. Whenever it says full metal, it means full metal! It has all the metal of a real steel rifle. My first reaction was "Wow this thing is solid!". There is no wobble at all, its like one peice of metal. The Zombie Hunter engravings are very nice, and on the side its has Luke 9:1. I run a 4000 mah 9.6v and it has insane ROF. Now a word of caution, this rifle did not have the range I expected, but I think I'm just expecting too much out of a stock airsoft gun. But this a deffinate great buy!

Pros:
Full metal
High Quality
High FPS (Can be a con)
Insane ROF

Cons: (lots of these are minor and should not drive you away from buying this excellent rifle)
Trigger guard is a little wobbly
Dust cover can not stay up
Small gap between upper and lower reciver
Flash hider is clockwise (most add ons are CCW)
High FPS (May be too high for some feilds)

Overall a great buy!

"This has to be the best gun I have owned. The exterior of this gun is amazing, no shine to it, has a sort of rugged look to it. The rof is awsome right out of the box. The range is increadable to with the stock hop and barrel- reaching out well over 150 feet. Id recomend getting a rail system for this and decking it out!

Pros:
Accurate
long range
great ROF
realistic paint job
sturdy
Its an m16

Cons:
Doesn't include a metal flashhidder
End of butstock is all plastic versus it usually being all metal on all the other brands (not a big issue as it is very high quality plastic)

"This is also my first G&P AEG. I am very very impressed with it. I also have a KWA SR7 and a G&G GR300. This gun by far out performs either one. The Rate of fire is faster then the KWA, even when using the same battery. I run a Matrix 9.6 volt 4000 mah battery and the gun shoots very very fast with it. An 8.4 is certainly enough for this gun. Unless you really want the even crazier ROF.

Pros:
Full metal
Awesome G&P internals
Very sturdy gun, basically no wobble
Extremely high Rate of fir. Better then a KWA even with both guns on the same lipoly battery (tested it).
LONG range. You will not be outgunned. 200+ ft of effective range!
Can fit large type battery.
Light weight for such a big gun

Cons: You cannot use this for CQB very effectively. Could be a pro or a con. If you are getting a 1st AEG then go with a G&P M4. Otherwise, if you want an epic mid/long range AEG the BUY THIS GUN!

"This gun was my first experience with G&P AEGs. I must say I was impressed with this gun.

Externally, the m16 looks great. The "Zombie Hunter Receiver" is sure to draw some attention and really suited my personality in particular. This is the sturdiest AEG I have used yet. The only problem I have with this gun is the dust cover. The dust cover doesn't close due to what seems like the fault of the wrong dust cover on the gun. The handle doesn't snap closed either and must be manually put back. However, when adjusting hop-up on the field this isn't nearly as bad as it sounds.

The internals on this gun are some of the most durable I have worked with. The only modification I have done is add a 6.03 inner barrel. I would recommend this modification with this gun. The rest of the internal work was just the usual AEG tightening and cleaning to insure maximum performance.

I run a 9.6 large type battery and get amazing trigger response. However, go with the 8.4 large type that it suggests your motor will thank you and you will still have amazing performance with your G&P M16A3.

"I love this gun,I actually got it through a evike 60k mystery box,I have fielded at 3 ops sense then,At those three ops I used a 9.6v battery,I was running the guys with KWA's scared, they literary feared me,This has got to be the most versatile platform ever, the full stock holds huge batteries, you can put a stubby front on for CQB,a 6.01 tight bore for DMR and sniping,a Vietnam handguard on for VN MILSIM or keep it stock for normal MILSIM,I don't use a tightbore barrel and I run with the stock everything,I love it it can easily reach out and touch someone here's the best part,I've held off the entire enemy force (a team of 15+2 medics) on my own with this,a GBB M9,and midcaps,I have people with Systemas offering me trades WITH CASH,it has to be the best rifle I've ever owned,I can't wait to grab some upgrades before OKI7,and the next Lion Claw

"This gun is great!! My 1st impressions were WOW. It is full metal weighing at about 7 pounds. The hop-up is kinda stiff to adjust. it took about 300 shots to break in the hop-up completely. and after this thing shoots lasers.

"I'm a Dad, got into the sport because of my boys. I'm taller than most, so I wanted a full size M16 variant. I started with a G&P M4, which was fine, but it was somewhat small for me. This full size M16 fit me well. My first gun (read below and my second) chrono's at 330 to 350 with .25 gm bb's (depending on the chrono). Distance is good, accuracy is fair. This gun can reach out 150 feet plus with hop-up adjustment.

So, my first M16 failed after four full outings on the Airsoft field, four games. I will admit, I have a drum mag, actually I have two and carry both of them, and used full auto extensively in all games. The failure was in the gear box. Gears stripped. In the middle of a game (fortunately the last game of the day) I heard a high pitched whizzing sound when the trigger was pulled, and that was the end of it. Broken gear box. Probably I had fired thousands of rounds, maybe over 10,000 through it by that point.

I took the gun back to EVIKE where I had purchased it a few months before, and they gave me a new one. That's why I buy from Evike. Stand up company. If the next one fails, I will post. However, I'm going to be more judicious in the use of full auto from now on.

"its good, but not great

- i have had this gun for two whole years. its done me pretty well so far. i paid $220 during a sale and got it for my birthday. i used this thing at 5 different fields facing different weather both hot and cold and wet and dry and had no hiccups UNTIL i had my gears shatter and fly into each other DESTROYING THE WHOLE GEAR BOX just before a game day ruining my weekend on a big trip 60 miles from home. since then i have installed a tight bore barrel, and new spring, piston, gear-set, and a MAGPUL hand guard making it a god gun DMR. but lets get down to the pros and cons stuff

- P R O S
-Great body
-very light for a full metal rifle
- great gearbox for building on
-good accuracy out of the box
-EXTREMELY FAST FIRE RATE for a stock gun. (close to that of a MG 42 in sound, scares the hell out of people)
-large space for battery

- C O N S
-stock gears are bobo and will break
-the paint will chip off with heavy use
