"Most reliable AEG I've ever owned. That's how I would like to start this review off. I have owned 7 AEG's, not including this one. All the others failed after about a year. Mostly internal, AKA gearbox problems. I'm going on 3 years with this one, without a single hiccup. Mags always feed well, trigger response with a 7.2v LiPo is amazing, deadly accurate at 40 yards with the stock barrel and a 5 inch grouping at 50 yards with a Madbull precision barrel. Excellent in all conditions, Mountain snow or Desert heat, this gun performs consistently. A young player player at my local field decided it would be a great idea to pack the barrel and hop up assembly full of sand. Him and his Double Eagle MP5. Anyway, After yelling at the kid for being such a jerk, I took my barrel rod, poked a hole through the sanded packed barrel, took a shot, and it blew the rest of the sand out, without stuttering. Echo 1 hit it out of the park with this one.

"The xcr is lightweight, has a perfect fps for outdoor, a high rof, an extra high cap and stubby grip in the box to help you get started, and decent internals. BUT... There are problems with the internals, most of the gearbox parts are unique jg parts, and if you replace the gearbox or gearbox shell, prepare to find a grip that will not only fit the slots for the grip, but also the body of the gun; as it is very unique, and not be able to use any other mags than the ones that come with, since the gearbox is too long for the mags too long. The upper receiver is in unison with the RIS, so unless you're a magician there's no replacing that. Make sure if you take the motor grip off that you do not loose the metal piece on top, you will regret it. The nicads that come with do not fit well in the stock, and for the life of me I cannot get the crane stock to extend and retract fully without the end caps falling out and me having to slam it forward. Overall a great gun if you plan to do no improvements of the grip and gearbox (motor grip fits alright), upper, or internals, it is one of the best guns on the market if you just want to get it, get out, and rock and roll.

"I would like to start off by saying this gun is a great aeg. The build is solid except for the crane stock wobbles a tiny bit. Overall I believe this is an amazing aeg for any level airsofter.

Nice build
Plenty of aerospace
Decent fps
Very upgradable

Crane stock wobbles

"This was my first AEG and I love it! Light weight, good fps and accurancy. And rails for days. It's also fully upgradable. Even for being a poly gun it feels solid and can take a beating. My only complant would be a crane stock is a little wobbly. A great AEG to start someone off with!

light weight
rails for days
solid feel
fully upgradable

crane stock was a little unsteady

"This gun is outstanding, I have it in black, but the tan also looks sick. I've had it for almost a year now, and I can only say good things. This gun has great range, accuracy, and fps. Also since this is the long version, you get so much rail space. Plus you can use M4 mags that literally are everywhere, but you don't look like everyone else with this gun. If you're worried about the polymer, don't be, the polymer is very high quality, and you'd have to be trying to break anything on the gun to break it. Other reviewer have said the stock is wobbly, but it isn't noticeable at all. Overall an amazing aeg, and the best I've owned (and better than any scar-l's)

-Great Range
-High FPS
-Great accuracy
-High ROF
-9.6v battery included
-Looks amazing
-Light weight, but still heavy enough it feels good to hold
-Comes with 2 high caps, and a stubby grip
-Good, easily adjustable hopup
-Uses M4 mags
-Version 2 gearbox
-I could go on and on

-The battery is NiCad, so you'll either need a discharger, or you'll eventually need a new battery, but it is a free 9.6v battery, so barely an con
-Not all mags will go in first try, but once they're in they're fine
-If you fire it on semi very fast it will stop shooting but this is easily fixable by switching to full auto, so barely a con

As you can see, the pros easily out way the cons, and this is by far the best gun on the market you can get for $200, this gun is honestly worth a lot more than it is priced. I would recommend this gun to anyone.
