"It came in a simple box that was slighty damaged nothing too serious, didn't have the owners manual, it might just be me but the magazine did feel really cheap. The gun its self has a full metal receiver which makes it quite heavy but it is extremely solid and all-around high quality externally. Internally its still good the accuracy has about a foot area of impact at about 25 feet (meaning where you point it has a radius of a foot) overall it's a great purchase id highly recommend it.
"i have a question about this airsoft rifle. i have a lonex a2 orange high torque motor and i would love to put this in the rifle can i do so with out hurting the gearbox or making any further upgrades ? i also plan on putting a lipo in this i have a 11.1 volt lipo and a 7.4 volt lipo witch one would you think works best with the stock set up. i habe yet to buy this rifle but am planing on it if its compatibility is going to be ok with what im trying to do. its a simple but good upgrade but i just dont want the gear box to be stressed.
"Finally had a chance to put this gun through its paces during a two day event.
The gun is nice and heavy, feels solid. No noticeable wobbles on any of the parts. The rail is solid, and it looks great (I got many compliments on the look of this gun!), it also includes 3 sections of keymod rail that can be moved around to accommodate different attachments. The canted sights are cool as well, but I think are more for looks than functionality. But looking cool is a good thing.
The charging handle can be pulled back and using the paddle can be locked in place to adjust the hop. I LOVE this feature as typically you are pulling back on the handle to keep it open as you adjust the hop, which can be awkward. This saves some awkwardness, and the fact that you can lock the "bolt" back like on a real M4 style weapon is pretty cool. I do feel however, that the charging handle has a flimsy feeling, and it might be the first thing that breaks if you get crazy with it.
The trigger response feels a bit slow, and the skeletonized speed trigger isn't curved enough for my taste. Trigger pull just doesn't feel as natural or fluid as other guns. In semi, the gun has a tendency to feel like its struggling to get a shot out. On a few occasions it "locked up" when firing semi, and I would have to switch it to full auto and cycle the gearbox a few times to fix it. Kind of frustrating but not enough for me to return the gun, as overall it performs well.
The range on this is excellent, I chrono'd at 360fps at the start of the day, but I will say that the accuracy isn't great. I was adjusting the hop all day, for some reason just couldn't find the "sweet spot"... I would say if there is any portion where this gun could use some attention, its the hop up. Its not terrible, but I think it could be better with a few upgrades!
The gun features electric blowback, which I do like, however those tend to break quite often, but so far so good on this one. The blowback is loud and has a nice distinct "clack!" sound when fired, I also got many comments on that, the sound itself was intimidating (one player: "ouch, I hope he's on our team"). If you are looking for a quiet, sneaky gun... this is not that gun. People will hear you and figure out where you are pretty quickly when shooting this bad boy.
I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 due to the fact that the gearbox locks up sometimes in semi, that could be a big deal in a firefight, but if you are running full auto I don't think you would have any issues.
Overall this is a very nice gun, that could be an awesome gun with some upgrades to the hop up. Its fun to shoot, its loud, and it just looks awesome.
