"This is my own personal experience with this gun. Keep this in mind as you read. I got this at the Black Friday sale, but I will go ahead and say my experience with this rifle isn't bad at all. The metal is nice, it takes a beating, and let me tell you, this thing is remarkably lightweight, even with the extended handguard.

Now the positives are definitely the look and feel of the rifle, and I find that while the internals don't feel like god-shaking-your-trigger-finger tier of lipo-ready AEG tech, I find them to work very well and quite reliably. Mine fires slower on automatic with a 7.4v lipo, as expected, but the trigger response is great on both modes (speaking of, the fire selector is very smooth and has a satisfying click - they actually put effort into making sure their fire selectors don't grind away at your receiver after slight use). The sound it makes when you fire is quite nice, too. The dust cover does not close, so be warned, though it does have a mock bolt to keep dust out of the hopup chamber. Finally, a useful feature you may like as I have, is the self-retaining motor grip. It has a hinged door at the bottom that opens to access your motor without carrying extra tools.

And that brings us to one of my two only complaints about the rifle - I cannot find extra smr rail pieces anywhere. My only other complaint is that I cannot be sure what internals (motors, specifically) would be most compatible for this rifle, as I tried with CYMA and JG stock and upgrade motors in an attempt to boost my rate of fire further, only for my weapon to make a whining pitch with each shot.

I got this rifle because I was looking for something new. I have bought a lot of AEGs and this one holds a big place in my heart for how truly unique it is. It isn't just a novelty item, but a solid shooter, and I recommend this rifle to anybody looking for something new to grace their inventory. Thank you again, Evike! You guys are a cut above the rest!

"I recently got this gun during the Black Friday sale. As soon as I opened up the box I was pretty impressed, it was a very solid. Then I opened up the gun.....The hopup chamber was pretty cheap feeling metal, and the barrel wiggles around in the hopup. Instantly I changed it out with the element red double o-ring hopup. After that I got to the motor, it is the same motor you would find in a CYMA. Lastly I got to the gearbox. It had CYMA gears which aren't the best, the piston head had absolutely no air seal in the cylinder. I changed the o-ring and piston head with a Guarder steel one. The cylinder was a full cylinder??? Which makes no sense as the barrel is around a 363mm but whatever. The cylinder head was decent, steel, double o-ring seal. Next was the spring guide was plastic which is fine for m110 spring it has, but was replaced with a metal ball bearing one. The biggest thing that got me was that it had no fuse, which is a big no no. Overall don't get this unless you plan on putting some money or extra parts into it. The only reason it got 2 stars is because the body is pretty solid.

"I received this AEG at a low cost of $140 from the Black Friday Sale of 2016. This AEG arrived today. I had to make some modifications to get it to work.
-First modification was replace the hopup. The included hopup was not feeding at all.
-The second modification was replace the mag release button. The included button used a pot metal screw that broke in half, causing the button to fall right out and leave half of each screw stuck on both the button and magazine catch.
-Third modification was to add duct tape to the buffer tube to tighten up the horrible stock wobble I was experiencing.
-Fourth modification (not necessary to get it to function) was a 380mm TBB from Angel Custom that I purchased along side the AEG. works great. they labeled it as ACR specific, but it's just a regular AEG TBB barrel.

-Cheap price during a sale
-Multicam pattern appears flawless, not miss printing or poor transfer
-Comfortable pistol grip
-Light weight
-Gearbox doesn't appear to have any issues

-Everything aluminum that is external is pot metal
-Screws are poor pot metal (can break or strip easily)
-No included iron sights
-Dust cover doesn't close. It flaps, but it is a one piece plastic flap.
-Cosmetic bolt carrier plate over gets stuck. With it being the only thing protecting the hopup adjustments, it can accidentally move the settings up or down then trying to push it back into place. Adding some silicone lubricant spray can help a bit.
-Included hopup is poor quality
-Limited battery space in the buffer tube

Other notes:
-To access the battery compartment, pull down on the bolt that holds the stock position adjustment lever while pulling the stock all the way off.
-A 7.4V 30C Lipo stick battery is adequate for this AEG. I used a Venom 7.4V 1200MaH 30C Stick battery. It was long enough to leave me just enough room to tuck in the small Tamiya connector.
-If you have an AR-15 wrench, tighten the castle nut on the buffer tube. Mine could be spun using just pressure from one finger before I tightened it.

Overall, with a lot of negatives, I now have the AEG in a condition that I am excited to try out in the field. I would have waiting the two weeks till the next game to get a review out, but with the recent sale, I thought I would push one out to possible help others who run into similar problems.
