"Ill start by saying this isnt a full blown review and more of an overview.
You'll get the usual PTS flashy box with a cool picture of the gun itself and flashy manual etc.
You get the gun, rear MBUS, sling attachment point for the hand guard, godly midcap that everyone seems to want with some sort of protective cap on top of it, and mock bullet that serves as a tool to push out the body pins.
The gun feels very nice in hand and while shouldering it.
It does have a flip up front sight as well thats somewhat integral to the top rail.
You get Magpul markings everywhere as well, the texturing on the grip itself looks like multiple Magpul markings too, oddly enough.
Unfortunately i did have a problem soon after just chronoing the gun.
Also chronoed pretty hot, around 380-390 fps.
The tappet plate broke within 50 or so rounds.
Not cool, definitely get an aftermarket tappet plate if u plan on getting this, luckily i had spares, it uses V3 tappet plates too to clarify.
The gearbox is a bit of a mix between a v2 and v3.
It has a motor cage but not the finnicky pain-in-the-ass v3 trigger set up thankfully, and works in using a microswitch.
Also, thankfully, uses a quick change spring system with bearings on it.
Uses 8mm bearings, full cylinder (replaced mine with a type 2/B cylinder cuz the barrel is only a bit over 300mm long), an aluminum double o ring v2/v3 cylinder head, super long proprietary red metal nozzle, plastic see thru piston with the 2nd to last tooth removed, and also has bearings behind the piston head and overall got a great air seal.
The wiring setup is a bit funky too, as the wiring goes thru the sides of the gearbox instead of the bottom near where the motor would sit, but this is due to the motor cage.
Unfortunately the motor is soddered in place too, which is super old school and very annoying.
The motor has a small amount of torque and is nothing special really.
The gearset honestly look like TM gears but still look ok.
Gearbox was decently shimmed with a bit of whine to it.
Definitely recommend the wii hop up tensioner and nub for this thing, also uses some weird red bucking.
Battery space is ok, mainly made for lipos really, dont run an 11.1 tho....
Thats about it
Definitely glad i didnt pay full blown retail price for it but still moderately happy with it.
"I bought this gun from a different site.
Let me first say that this was the one gun I wanted more than any other once I started airsofting.
Lets start this review with the good things
The gun is tough as a rock. This thing took the full force of fall after I got pushed out the back of a truck, not a single scratch or misfire.
The gun is simply beautiful, look at it!
The gearbox is reliable and tough. It hasent broken on me over the time ive had it, which is impressive.
The stock and magazine it comes with are incredible.
The gun is extremly easy to take apart, a child with no arms could do it!
The guns fire rate with a 9.6 Valken is incredible
The gun gets cooler with attachments.
I like the guns bulky grip, gives me something to hold on too when you dont have an angled or fore grip.
The gun is very light, its perfect for people who like high speed loadouts.
Now for bad things.
The guns hop up is a joke. If you buy this, replace it immediatly (I cannot stress this enough)
Its expensive (but amazing) I have about $800 into this as I review this (and putting in more...)
Easy to Disassemble
OMG Fire Rate
Hop Up Sucks
So expensive (but so worth it!!!)
