"I have had this gun for a few months now and it hasn't let me down yet. It shoots hard and is very accurate. One of the only issues that I have with it is that the mags end up falling out a lot. I usually just hold on to the mags and keep it in place while i'm firing and I have no problems, but if you are looking for a weapon which doesn't drop your mags, you may want to look elsewhere. All in all, it is a great gun and I would highly recommend it. It is heavy duty, accurate, mostly full metal, and the bronze color definitely makes it stand out in a crowd. It is definitely worth the money. ALSO! It is NOT a CQB weapon and is definitely best used in mid to long range combat. It is way too long and sucks for maneuvering around tight corners so if you play a lot of indoor games, it might not be the right weapon for you. "I highly recommend this gun! The preinstalled tight bore barrel make the gun very accurate if your looking for distance and accurate shots your looking in the right place. Almost every mags I put this in it's fits or has little wobble. "I got this gun for christmas but the m10 version. Same thing but shorter. Externals are really good, ambi selector switch and mag release. Haven't had a problem yet with this. Even when I put it back together. Bronze has a nice finish. Nice metal rotary hop up. Really good airseal out of the box. Only 2fps variation. Hitting 380 fps consistently and around 210 feet range with .25. Nice different style crane stock. Flip up sights. Internally has a 6.03 tightbore barrel, qc spring system, radiused, ht gear and ht motors, double oring cylinder head. Even with the High torque motor and high torque gears this is getting around 23 rps with an 11.1 out of the box. Alot of people compare this and the krytac and personally I would go with this. I got mine for $223 with a coupon code plus a battery so really good deal. The only thing Krytac has going for them is a mosfet haha and the keymod rail system but apex carries one just like it. So your choice spend $50 more on the krytac for just the mosfet. I can tell apex made their guns to be reliable and long lasting but still make it really good. The externals also feel like plastic on the krytac, and the stock is just so big and ugly. Anyways that's all I have to say. Have a good day. Read More Reviews Write a Review

Optics shown in images not included. APEX R5 M12 Gen2 Airsoft AEG Rifle - Dark Bronze
The R-Series is the next evolution in Apex’s mission to bring you a feature packed AEG at a surprisingly good price. The R-Series is centered on a new aggressive receiver design, one that instantly differentiates the Apex brand from the multitudes of M4 clones on the market. The R-series receiver combines practical function with updated combat rifle styling. All controls are fully ambidextrous.
Internally, the R-Series uses the same gearbox as the Mark 13 series, but with the electric blowback function removed for better battery performance and piston lifespan. A 6.03mm tightbore barrel and metal rotary hop up unit comes standard. Every carbine length R-Series shoots approximately 400 fps, and every CQB length R-Series shoots approximately 360 fps.
The new GEN2 builds on the R5 platform and incorporates numerous enhancements to the internal function of the gun. All gearbox polymer parts have been replaced with a high heat tolerant polymer, including the trigger switch and piston. The gears have been upgraded to a wirecut steel gearset for superior durability over powder metallurgy or casting techniques. The low resistance wiring now features a MOSFET circuit which bypasses the trigger switch, resulting in superior battery efficiency, trigger response, and heat management. A high efficiency Dean's plug is standard, although a mini-Tamiya plug adapter is included to provide maximum flexibility for battery types.
The Apex R-Series builds on its tradition of being Always Predator, Never Prey.
