"A beast at CQB! I have had this AEG for about 3 months or so and I absolutely love it! I have had zero feed issues, zero hop up issues, zero issues period really. The only downside or con I can think of is that the stock isn't exactly the most comfortable, luckily there are several stock options on this site to choose from. Plus, there is a M4 conversion kit so stock options greatly enhance! The way I have mine set up is with a cheap, common vertical grip (works just fine, no need for a fancy $40+ one) and a Evike red dot sight ( great sight, works well with this gun - even if some say due to the high rise it sucks-). I also have 4 mid caps witch in my opinion are better than high caps. To give you or whom ever is reading this an idea on how well this gun performs in CQB, I used to run dual ppqs (great gun, highly recommend it) and usually had to respawn about 4 to 10 times per game with 3 or 4 kills. Thanks to this beauty, I now respawn 2 to 5 times per game with around 10 kills.
Also note: if you end up putting a red dot sight, straight away lower the sight until it matches the bb flight, then zero it in. Otherwise your going to have a pain in butt time messing with the sight for hours.. I learned the hard way.
Anywho, awesome CQB gun, iffy field gun (even with the spring upgrade), and would buy again! If I even need to that is, it is a very durable gun plus tons of replacement parts are available.
"This is an incredibly fine piece of Airsoft weaponry!! I've received countless compliments and quite a few people staring in awe at it's incredibly loud blowback! When I say loud, I mean LOUD. It's easily three times as loud as a normal firing airsoft rifle, and it just echoes throughout the field. I can't stop raving over the blowback on this, the loud metallic clank is so satisfying the second you pull the trigger, and it's performance is incredible. Putting this thing in full auto....honestly I'm not sure what more I can say about the sensation you get hearing that clank and feeling the kick. Yes, there is actual kick with this heavy EBB system! Aside from the great sound, the gun performs remarkably well, and has range and accuracy comparable with an M4, (which has a nearly 6 inch longer inner barrel). To put this in perspective, my friend modded out a SCAR-L, poured $500 into it, it shot roughly 500 fps, had the best range out of anyone. We shot our weapons side by side as soon as I got this G36, mine was short by 5 feet from his, at roughly 400 feet. I play woodland a lot, so range is a higher factor than FPS, and while it shoots dead on at 350 fps, that has no bearing on the range which is honestly remarkable.
The G36c only has a few flaws, the first of which being it shot incredibly right when I took it out of the box! Nothing I did would make it recenter through the sights, and I simply couldn't figure out what was wrong...until I looked at the muzzle. The four prongs on the muzzle can be easily bent, and I saw the stress and wear on the inside of one of them, showing that the flashhider had been put on crooked during production. It was an easy fix to simply bend that one prong back out of the way, and after that it was dead on no matter what. The only other flaw is present on the real steel version, and I'd like everyone to beware: The carry handle where you mount your optics ISN'T ACTUALLY A CARRY HANDLE! DO NOT PUT ANY STRESS ON IT! It seems very sturdy and doesn't break or anything, but it WILL throw off your optic's zero if you're not careful, as putting a lot of weight on it by, say, carrying it like you would an M4, can warp the rail a little bit and throw off your sight. It's happened to me slightly, and I'd suggest double checking the zero before each day of airsofting, so you're not caught shooting right like I was! Aside from that, I would highly recommend this product!!
"I give this only 4 stars ONLY because like what others said about the locking on the switches for the firing modes.
One minute I'm going semi, then it would go into burst.
Other than that, the gun right out the box is outstanding. The ROF is impressive as well with the weight of the gun. It's very well balanced IMO. the BB has a nice feel to it too. Also IMO the low profile sights aren't my thing. I would recommend some high profile sights switched out if you're that type of person.
